Choose capture settings per URL
- Page extent and size: use
fullpagefor a full-page capture andwidthorviewportwhen the rendered dimensions matter. - Format: choose with

Screenshotlayer’s FAQ describes dedicated workers as server entities assigned to capture screenshots and says plan capacity determines worker availability; its example is one screenshot per worker at a time. Choose concurrency conservatively against your account’s capacity rather than assuming that more simultaneous requests will finish faster. The provider’s FAQ also claims around 99.9% uptime, while noting it does not offer public statistics and that readers can ask for a recent report; this is a provider statement, not independent uptime evidence.

Make each URL an independent job
Keep per-URL status in a log or CSV so an invalid URL, failed request, or usage-limit error does not conceal the outcome for the rest of the list. Retry only failed items, and avoid automatic rapid retries for quota errors. Screenshotlayer’s specification identifies missing or invalid access keys, invalid API function, usage limit reached, and invalid URL among error cases.
Estimate usage before a large run
Each URL in this workflow produces an individual capture request. Estimate the request count, check the plan’s snapshot allowance and overage terms, and test a small subset first.
