SnapshotAPI is the only provider in this comparison whose reviewed pricing page publishes plans in Indian rupees. It lists monthly plans from ₹0 for 10 screenshots to ₹1,999 for 10,000. ScreenshotAPI and ScreenshotCenter publish prices in US dollars; those list prices do not establish what an Indian customer will ultimately pay after currency conversion, taxes or payment fees.
Prices and quotas below are vendor-published terms reviewed on October 3, 2026, not independently verified charges. Check each provider’s current pricing and checkout terms before choosing a plan.

Which screenshot API publishes prices in INR?
SnapshotAPI is the clear match if you want to compare a vendor-published monthly plan price directly in rupees. Its pricing page lists these tiers and per-minute request rates:
| SnapshotAPI plan | Monthly price listed | Included screenshots | Listed rate limit | Overage listed |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | ₹0/month | 10/month | 1 request/minute | Not listed |
| Starter | ₹499/month | 1,000/month | 10 requests/minute | ₹0.60 per additional screenshot |
| Professional | ₹999/month | 5,000/month | 60 requests/minute | ₹0.25 per additional screenshot |
| Business | ₹1,999/month | 10,000/month | 120 requests/minute | ₹0.12 per additional screenshot |
These are the provider’s published monthly plan terms, not a verified checkout quote. The pricing page also describes plan-dependent retention, support, multiple API keys, webhooks, PDF generation, team management and analytics. It advertises a seven-day free trial for paid plans without a credit card and a 14-day money-back guarantee. Confirm that those terms and the overage behavior still apply to the plan you select.

How the three providers bill
Keep rupee-denominated plans separate from dollar-denominated prices. Converting a USD list price using an assumed exchange rate would not establish your final INR charge.
| Provider | Published billing structure | Published allowance or price | Useful details and qualifications |
|---|---|---|---|
| ScreenshotNeo | Monthly plans | Free: 1,000 shots/month; Starter: $5 for 3,000; Growth: $15 for 15,000; Pro: $39 for 60,000; Scale: $99 for 250,000; Business: $249 for 1,000,000 | These are USD prices, not INR quotes. Every feature is available on every plan; yearly billing gives two months free. Only clean shots are billed, and the response reports the page verdict and billing status. |
| SnapshotAPI | Monthly quota with listed per-shot overages on paid tiers | ₹0 for 10; ₹499 for 1,000; ₹999 for 5,000; ₹1,999 for 10,000 | The reviewed pricing page publishes the plans in INR. Rates, retention and other terms depend on plan. |
| ScreenshotAPI | Pay-as-you-go; no subscription described | $0.001 per shot; listed packs include 2,000 for $2, 5,000 for $5, 10,000 for $9, 25,000 for $22, 50,000 for $40 and 100,000 for $80 | The pricing page says successful screenshots count and failed renders are not credited. Its free allowance is inconsistent: the headline says 100 shots, while signup and closing callouts say 1,000. Verify the allowance in current account terms. |
| ScreenshotCenter | Monthly tiers | Free trial: 500/month; Starter: $15 for 2,000; Plus: $35 for 5,000; Business: $70 for 10,000; Enterprise: $250 for 50,000 | These are USD prices, not an India-specific INR quote. Custom on-premise deployment is also listed. PDF counts as one screenshot; videos are counted per five seconds. |
ScreenshotNeo is worth trying first if clean output and predictable billing matter: it accepts consent banners and removes known consent platforms, newsletter popups and chat widgets before capture, and failed or unusable page outcomes are not billed. Its features include an MCP server for AI agents. Its plans are in USD, however, so check the checkout currency and charges if you need a final INR amount.
What to compare before choosing
Quota, overages and what counts as billable
- For a fixed monthly workload, compare included screenshots and the cost of exceeding the quota. SnapshotAPI publishes per-screenshot overages on its paid tiers; ScreenshotAPI lists prepaid packs as well as per-shot metering.
- Check how each service treats failed renders, blank pages, timeouts, bot checks and cache hits. ScreenshotAPI says failed renders are not credited; ScreenshotNeo says only clean shots are billed and identifies outcomes in response headers. Do not assume another provider uses either policy.
- Ask whether retries consume quota. The reviewed pricing details do not establish retry behavior for every provider.
Rate limits and workload shape
A monthly allowance is not the same as throughput. SnapshotAPI lists plan-specific request rates from 1 to 120 requests per minute. If your job runs in bursts, confirm rate-limit behavior, concurrency rules and whether batch requests count as one request or multiple captures; the reviewed pricing pages do not settle all of those details.

Output and capture requirements
- Confirm whether the API returns the image format you need and supports full-page capture, PDFs or other outputs. SnapshotAPI describes PDF generation, ScreenshotAPI lists PNG, JPG and GIF, and ScreenshotCenter lists PDF/HTML rendering and video generation.
- Check whether you need batch capture, webhooks, custom viewport settings, geographic rendering or team controls. These features vary by plan and provider.
- Do not confuse rendering a page from an Indian location with billing in INR. ScreenshotCenter lists India among the five capture-country choices on its Plus page; higher tiers list 80+ countries. That geographic option does not mean its plan is priced or billed in rupees.
How to estimate the amount you will pay in India
- Estimate monthly capture volume. Include scheduled jobs, retries and development traffic rather than comparing only a typical day.
- Choose the billing unit. Compare monthly quotas and overages against per-shot charges or prepaid packs. A low listed unit price may not be the lowest fit if you need a large quota, higher request rate or particular output features.
- Check the rate limit against peak demand. If your integration submits requests in bursts, confirm the applicable limit and how the provider signals throttling.
- Review the live checkout before payment. For a USD-priced provider, confirm the currency charged, applicable taxes, conversion rate and any payment-processor or bank fees. The reviewed vendor pages do not establish those final charges.
- Save the plan terms you accepted. Record the quota, overage rate, trial end date, cancellation terms and whether failed captures are billable. Published terms can change.
API integration is a separate decision from currency
Pricing alone does not establish whether an API fits your integration. For example, the documentation at screenshot-api.org describes API-key authentication, GET and POST screenshot routes, a batch route, PNG/JPEG/WebP/PDF output, viewport and full-page settings, and advanced POST-only CSS, JavaScript, selector, geolocation and PDF options. It states a free allowance of 60 requests per minute and 500 screenshots per month, and describes rate-limit and quota errors. This is the screenshot-api.org service, not ScreenshotAPI, SnapshotAPI or ScreenshotCenter; similarly named products are not interchangeable.
Before integrating any provider, verify its API domain, authentication method, response format, quota headers and error behavior in that provider’s own documentation. The API reference above does not establish an INR plan or final India checkout cost.

Or skip the browser setup
ScreenshotNeo takes a URL in one GET request and returns an image or PDF. The example saves a WebP response; see the ScreenshotNeo API documentation for authentication, output and other options.
curl -G "https://api.screenshotneo.com/v1/shot" -d access_key=YOUR_API_KEY --data-urlencode url=https://stripe.com -o shot.webp
Cookie and consent banners are accepted before capture, and more than 60 known consent platforms, newsletter popups and chat widgets can be removed; each cleanup step can be turned off. Bot checks, blank pages, timeouts, failed loads and cache hits are not billed, and response headers say what happened. An MCP server gives AI agents tools to take screenshots, inspect page information and capture PDFs. The Free plan includes 1,000 shots a month with no card; paid plans start at $5 for 3,000. These are USD plan prices, not a promised INR checkout amount.

Common pricing and selection mistakes
- Treating a USD list price as the final INR charge: check checkout currency, taxes and payment fees instead of relying on a conversion estimate.
- Assuming the free allowance is unambiguous: ScreenshotAPI’s published page gives conflicting free-shot figures, so verify the current allowance in your account terms.
- Comparing quota without throughput: a plan’s monthly volume does not tell you how quickly you may send requests. Check the published rate limit and ask about concurrency if your workload is bursty.
- Equating geographic capture with INR billing: a service may be able to render an India-based page while billing in USD.
- Assuming a failed request is free: billing rules differ. Confirm what happens with failed loads, blank pages, blocked pages and retries.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does a screenshot API’s India capture location mean it will charge me in rupees?
No. Capture geography and billing currency are separate. ScreenshotCenter lists India as a capture-country choice on Plus, but its listed plan prices are in USD.
Do the USD plan prices in this comparison include Indian GST, bank conversion fees or payment charges?
The reviewed pricing pages do not establish those checkout amounts. Check the final payment screen and your payment provider’s terms.
