On the Galaxy S26 Ultra, open the Quick Panel, touch and hold Privacy display, switch on Turn on Privacy display, and tap Done. You can also go to Settings > Display > Privacy Display. Samsung says this built-in feature is exclusive to the Galaxy S26 Ultra, so it may not appear on other Samsung phones.

Adjust privacy and screen visibility
Maximum privacy protection narrows the viewing angle further. Samsung cautions that this can slightly blur the display or change its colors. The feature reduces visibility from the sides, but it is not a guarantee that nobody else can see screen content: viewing angle, brightness, and surroundings affect what remains visible. If the display looks too dark outdoors, adjust the conditions or turn Privacy display off. Samsung also provides color adjustment options; some advanced adjustments are unavailable while Adaptive color tone is on.
If Privacy display is missing from your Samsung phone
Samsung’s legal notes state, “Privacy Display is available exclusively on Galaxy S26 Ultra.” If your phone is another model, do not assume that a software update will add this built-in feature. Check the exact model and its software-specific settings; labels and screen layouts can differ.
