Sometimes. Samsung includes an Air Fry tray with certain oven and range models, but there is no universal rule that every Samsung oven comes with one. Samsung calls the accessory an “Air Fry tray,” not a basket. Check your oven’s full model code and the package listing for your country before assuming it is included.
What Samsung means by an Air Fry “basket”
Samsung’s product term is Air Fry tray. The phrase “air fryer basket” may suggest a removable basket like the one in a countertop fryer, so use Samsung’s term when checking the included accessories or searching for a replacement.

Two details are separate: whether the exact oven supports Air Fry mode, and whether its package includes the tray. An Air Fry feature on one Samsung model does not establish that another model supports it or includes the accessory. Samsung’s Air Fry instructions say an owner of a capable model can purchase a tray if it was not included.

How to check whether your oven’s package includes the tray
- Find the full model code. Check the product label, purchase documents, or the model information shown for your appliance. Include the suffix, such as “/AA” or “/U2,” when searching.
- Open the Samsung product page for your country. Check both the Air Fry feature and the included-accessories list. A feature listing alone does not confirm the tray is in the box.
- Compare the listing with the supplied package contents and manual. Samsung’s specifications show that accessory inclusion varies by model and regional package.
- If the tray is missing, confirm compatibility before buying one. Samsung says a tray is available for capable models that did not include it, but the exact replacement part should be matched to the full model code.

Samsung’s Ukrainian specifications for a different built-in oven list Air Fry as unavailable. This is a reminder to check the precise appliance rather than infer its features or contents from the brand alone. Regional packages can differ, too.

- Place a baking sheet or tray on the rack below the Air Fry tray to catch fats or juices.
- Set the Air Fry tray at rack position 3.
- Preheating is unnecessary for the described mode. Samsung lists 425°F as the default temperature, adjustable from 350°F to 500°F.
- On twin-cooking models, use Single oven mode for Air Fry.
These are instructions from the cited support page, not settings guaranteed to apply to every Samsung oven. Follow the manual for your exact model if it differs.

Samsung advises removing the Air Fry tray before running Self Clean because the high heat may damage it or peel its coating. The support page says the tray can be washed with lukewarm, soapy water and a plastic scouring pad, and that it is dishwasher-safe. Check your model’s manual for any different care instructions.
