What does E-11 mean on a Samsung microwave?

What if the code comes back?
Request service through Samsung Support rather than treating a second reset as a repair. The general US and Canada support pages do not provide a user procedure for opening the microwave or testing its sensor.

Can you keep using the microwave while E-11 is displayed?
The cited support guidance does not establish whether continued operation is safe while E-11 is displayed. Do not assume that the microwave is safe to use because it still appears to run; follow Samsung’s reset and service instructions for your model.
