The 2026 Samsung M70H is a 4K TV family sold in six US sizes, from 43 to 85 inches. Its Mini LED label does not mean the tested model has local dimming, and “DLG 120 Hz” is not the same as a native 120 Hz panel: Samsung lists the 55-inch model at 60 Hz, while RTINGS describes its tested 65-inch model as limited to 60 Hz. That makes the M70H a better fit for everyday viewing than for buyers seeking advanced gaming features or independently controlled dimming zones.

Samsung positions the M70H as an accessible Mini LED tier for everyday viewing, motion and sports. That is the manufacturer’s description, not an independent performance result. Availability and pricing can vary by size and retailer; check the exact model number when shopping. Samsung’s 2026 lineup announcement names all six sizes.
Is the Samsung M70H a good TV?
It may suit viewers looking for a large 4K screen for general viewing who do not require native 120 Hz gaming or effective local dimming. The main caution is that the Mini LED name can suggest capabilities the independent review did not find on its test unit: RTINGS reports that the 65-inch M70H it tested has no local dimming and limited 60 Hz gaming capability.

RTINGS published its review on June 18, 2026, and modified it on July 31, 2026. It tested the 65-inch version and says its findings apply to the 43-, 55-, 75- and 85-inch variants; its stated applicability does not include the 50-inch model. The review does not establish that every size has identical performance. Read RTINGS’ M70H review.
Does the M70H have native 120 Hz or local dimming?
Refresh rate: 60 Hz, with DLG 120 Hz listed separately
Samsung’s US product page for the 55-inch UN55M70HAFXZA lists a 60 Hz refresh rate and DLG 120 Hz as separate specifications. It also lists HDMI inputs supporting up to 4K at 60 Hz. RTINGS characterizes the 65-inch set it tested as a limited 60 Hz television. Do not treat the DLG 120 Hz label as proof of a native 120 Hz panel or 4K/120 Hz input support.
