These are advertised capabilities, not a guarantee that every result will look a particular way. If a specific AI function is important to your purchase, confirm it is supported where you live.
Does the Galaxy S26 FE support 45W charging?
Samsung India lists 45W wired charging and says the phone can reach up to 69% charge in around 30 minutes with a 45W adapter. That is Samsung’s claim, not an independently reproduced test. Check local box contents and adapter compatibility: Samsung says buyers can use an existing charger with the included USB-C cable or purchase a new plug. A separate charger is only a necessary purchase if you do not already have a compatible one.

How does its battery hold up?
Tom’s Guide had not completed its full battery test when it reported its review. In one rough three-hour YouTube streaming comparison at 50% brightness, the S26 FE ended with 82% charge remaining; the standard S26 ended at 85% and the A57 at 87%. This limited test is not a measurement of typical daily battery life or a basis for predicting how long your phone will last between charges.
What should you check before ordering?
- Confirm the local price and storage. Compare like-for-like capacity, unlocked and carrier offers, and the conditions attached to discounts or trade-ins.
- Match the phone to your priorities. The review reports weaker benchmark performance than the standard S26. If you play demanding games or prioritize peak performance, weigh that against the FE’s entry price and feature set.
- Verify regional features. Check Samsung’s current specifications for One UI 9 and the AI functions you expect to use.
- Buy only a case made for this model. A Galaxy S26 FE-specific case is a sensible protection purchase, but do not assume a Galaxy S26 or older FE case fits.
- Check accessories and coverage locally. Confirm whether the box includes what you need before buying a charger, and review current Samsung Care+ availability, terms and pricing in your market.
Samsung announced the S26 FE on August 27, 2026. In the U.S., select carriers began offering it on September 3, followed by broader availability through Samsung.com, carriers and retailers on September 4. Samsung India announced it on September 14.
