The POCO X8 Power 5G is the larger, battery-focused option on the specifications reported by secondary sources; the Samsung Galaxy S25 is substantially lighter and has a documented 3x optical-zoom telephoto camera. A definitive price difference cannot be stated from the available figures: POCO prices are India listings, while Samsung’s cited specifications page is for the U.S. and does not establish a current India price.
Samsung Galaxy S25 vs POCO X8 Power 5G: specifications
Samsung’s figures below come from its U.S. product page for a 256 GB Galaxy S25. POCO X8 Power 5G figures are reported by secondary product listings, rather than a regional official specifications page. Treat regional configurations and availability as potentially different.

Which phone is easier to carry and use?
The S25 is the compact choice in this comparison: Samsung lists a 6.2-inch screen and 162 g weight. POCO’s reported 6.83-inch screen and 229 g weight point to a larger, heavier handset. The difference is likely to matter if you value pocketability or one-handed use; a larger screen may suit people who prioritize viewing space. Display size alone does not establish how comfortable either phone feels in the hand.

Samsung specifies three rear cameras, including a 10 MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. The cited POCO listing reports a 50 MP and 8 MP rear-camera combination and does not list a dedicated telephoto lens. That gives the S25 a clearly documented zoom-camera option, but these specifications do not establish which phone takes better photos. Megapixel counts are not a substitute for comparable camera testing.

Battery capacity and charging
91mobiles reports a 10,000 mAh battery and 100 W charging for the POCO X8 Power 5G. Samsung lists the S25 battery as 3,885 mAh rated capacity. The capacity figures use different labels and should not be treated as an exact like-for-like measurement. Nor do they establish real-world battery life: screen use, network conditions, software and other factors affect endurance, and comparable test results are not established here.
The POCO’s reported charging figure is 100 W; the Samsung U.S. page does not provide a directly comparable charging figure in the cited specifications. Check the exact regional model’s charging support and included accessories before buying a charger. Samsung’s U.S. listing says a travel adapter is not included; the available POCO accessory information does not establish what comes in the X8 Power 5G box.

What is the price difference?
A reliable price difference is not established because the available prices are for India POCO listings, while the Samsung source is a U.S. specifications page rather than a current India price listing. Comparing prices across those markets—or comparing a launch price with a live listing—would be misleading.

Availability and model identity
Samsung Mobile Press said the Galaxy S25 series became globally available on February 7, 2025. Gadgets 360 reported POCO India’s announcement of a September 4, 2026 launch date for the POCO X8 Power 5G and POCO X8 5G. The latter is an India launch report, not evidence of worldwide availability. Confirm local network-band support, warranty coverage and seller authorization for the specific market where you plan to buy.
Do not confuse the POCO X8 Power 5G with the POCO X8. POCO’s global specifications page for the distinct POCO X8 lists different details, including a Snapdragon 6s Gen 4, 8,340 mAh battery and 67 W charging. Those specifications do not establish the X8 Power 5G’s hardware. POCO X8 global specifications.

Which one should you choose?
- Choose the Galaxy S25 if you want the lighter, smaller phone or specifically value a documented 3x optical-zoom telephoto camera.
- Consider the POCO X8 Power 5G if you prefer a larger display and prioritize its reported 10,000 mAh battery and 100 W charging.
- Compare local listings before choosing on value. The available figures do not provide a same-market, same-date Samsung price against which to calculate a fair price gap.
Neither the headline processor names nor battery capacities alone establish overall speed or endurance. There are no comparable performance, camera-quality or battery-life test results in the cited information.
