The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra is not simply on sale for Rs 75,000. That figure is a conditional effective price after trading in an eligible old phone; your actual cost depends on the handset you exchange, its condition and the offer available at checkout. The headline calculation was reported for Amazon India on 27 January 2026, so it should be treated as a dated example, not a live price.
What the Rs 75,000 headline means
Digit’s 27 January 2026 calculation started with an Amazon India listing price of Rs 1,11,999, described as Rs 18,000 below the cited launch price of Rs 1,29,999. It then estimated about Rs 1,500 in additional savings with select bank cards and applied an exchange value of up to Rs 35,950. The maximum exchange valuation could bring the effective cost below Rs 75,000, but it was not a guaranteed discount for every buyer. Digit’s report says the old phone’s model variant, age and working condition affect its value.
In other words, Rs 75,000 is a best-case-style calculation combining separate conditions—not the S25 Ultra’s universal outright price. The card saving may also depend on an eligible card and offer terms. Check the live listing and checkout rather than relying on January’s figures.
Samsung’s own displayed price is a separate offer
Samsung India’s product page, retrieved on 3 October 2026, displayed Rs 1,19,999 for a listed 256 GB configuration, against a displayed MRP of Rs 1,29,999. It also advertised exchange offers of up to Rs 75,000. That is a separate manufacturer channel and offer display, not confirmation of the Amazon price or a promise that every trade-in will receive the maximum. Samsung notes that exchange value and any additional bonus depend on the old phone and promotion details. Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Ultra purchase page may show different prices or availability by configuration and delivery location.

How the exchange changes the amount you pay
Samsung describes two exchange routes. With instant exchange, the stated trade-in value is deducted from the new-device price and the old phone is evaluated for pickup. With easy exchange, you pay for the new phone first, then receive the old phone’s value after it has been evaluated and accepted. The valuation begins with the details you submit; the final result depends on the device assessment and the applicable promotion. Samsung says promotions can vary by region. See its exchange information for the process and applicable terms.
Samsung’s published eligibility guidance says the phone submitted for exchange must meet the offer’s requirements. Among the checks, it must match the submitted model and IMEI, power on and reach the home screen without a lock, have an undamaged screen and working buttons, and work on a mobile network. Relevant account locks must be removed, and the device must not be cloned. A mismatch or failed check can affect whether you receive the expected exchange value.

How to check whether the deal works for you
- Check the exact S25 Ultra configuration. Compare the same storage option and seller: Samsung’s retrieved listing was for 256 GB, while the Digit figures describe an Amazon India deal from January 2026.
- Start with the current outright price. Confirm the price, seller, stock and delivery availability on the live product page and at checkout; do not treat either dated or separately displayed price as universal.
- Enter your old phone’s exact details. Use the model and variant that match the device and provide its IMEI where required. Check the resulting valuation instead of assuming you qualify for the advertised maximum.
- Read the exchange route and conditions. Confirm whether the value is deducted immediately or paid after evaluation, and review the eligibility terms for your region.
- Verify card savings separately. Apply only the card offer shown for your transaction and check its terms; the January 2026 report’s roughly Rs 1,500 estimate is not proof of a current discount.
- Compare the final checkout total. Keep the new-phone price, card discount and accepted exchange value distinct. Compare like with like rather than setting a best-case price after trade-in against another seller’s price before trade-in.
