Which is smaller, and which has the sharper display?
The vivo X300 FE is the more compact phone by height and width: its India listing gives dimensions of 150.83 × 71.76 mm, compared with 161.3 × 76.6 mm for the Galaxy S25 FE. Their weights are nearly identical—191g for vivo and 190g for Samsung—while Samsung is thinner at 7.4 mm versus 7.99 mm for vivo.

Samsung has the larger screen at 6.7 inches, which may suit reading, video and other tasks where screen area matters. vivo lists a 6.31-inch AMOLED panel with 2640 × 1216 pixels; Samsung lists a 6.7-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel. Both are specified at 120Hz. The listed resolution favors vivo, but display size and pixel count do not by themselves establish which screen looks better in use.

How do the cameras differ?
Samsung specifies a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 12MP ultrawide and an 8MP telephoto camera with OIS and 3x optical zoom. vivo lists a 50MP OIS main camera, an 8MP wide-angle camera and a 50MP OIS telephoto camera. The higher stated telephoto resolution on vivo does not prove better zoom photographs; the cited specifications do not provide comparable photo tests. Samsung, meanwhile, lists the higher-resolution ultrawide.
For selfies, Samsung lists a 12MP front camera and vivo a 50MP autofocus front camera. Megapixel counts alone do not establish selfie, portrait or video quality. Choose based on the camera types you expect to use, and consult comparable sample images or testing if camera performance is decisive.
Does vivo’s larger battery mean longer battery life?
Samsung lists a 4,900 mAh typical battery capacity and 4,755 mAh rated capacity. vivo lists 6,500 mAh typical and 6,350 mAh rated. Those figures make vivo’s stated capacity larger, but capacity is not a standardized endurance result: no comparable battery-life test for these two phones is established here.
Charging figures need similar care. Samsung says the S25 FE can reach up to 65% in around 30 minutes with a 45W adapter; its US announcement says the adapter and cable are sold separately. That is a market-specific bundle note, not proof of what is included with every regional model. vivo advertises up to 90W wired and 40W wireless FlashCharge, and its India specifications say a USB power adapter is in the box. vivo also cautions that charging power is adjusted dynamically and varies with actual use.

- Choose the Galaxy S25 FE if you prefer a larger 6.7-inch display, want Samsung’s specified 12MP ultrawide and 3x optical-zoom telephoto setup, or value its listed Exynos 2400 and Android 16 with One UI 8.
- Choose the vivo X300 FE if you want a shorter, narrower phone, prefer the higher listed screen resolution, or are drawn to its stated 50MP telephoto and autofocus front camera. Its published battery capacity is also larger, but that is not a tested battery-life advantage.
