Which display is larger and sharper?
The S25 Edge has the larger listed screen: 6.7 inches versus 6.3 inches on the Pixel 10a. Its 3120 × 1440 resolution is also higher than the Pixel’s 1080 × 2424. Both manufacturers list refresh rates reaching 120 Hz; Google gives the Pixel’s range as 60–120 Hz. Resolution and refresh-rate specifications alone do not establish which screen looks better in everyday use.
What do the camera specifications show?
Samsung specifies a 200 MP wide camera and a 12 MP ultra-wide camera for the S25 Edge, with 2× optical-quality zoom using an adaptive pixel sensor. The cited Google announcement does not establish the Pixel 10a’s complete camera hardware, so this comparison cannot make a like-for-like camera-spec verdict. Megapixel counts also do not, by themselves, determine photo quality; no comparative camera testing is established here.
What do the battery and performance figures mean?
Battery
Google lists the Pixel 10a’s typical battery capacity as 5,100 mAh and estimates 30+ hours of use, or up to 120 hours with Extreme Battery Saver. Samsung’s cited materials do not state the S25 Edge battery capacity. Capacity and manufacturer estimates cannot establish which phone lasts longer in real-world use, and no comparative battery test is available here.

Processor and memory
Google identifies the Pixel 10a’s processor as Tensor G4 and lists 8 GB of RAM. Samsung’s May 2025 launch announcement describes the S25 Edge as using Snapdragon 8 Elite; its captured product listing gives octa-core frequencies of 4.47 GHz and 3.5 GHz. No benchmark comparison is established, so these specifications do not support a quantified performance winner.

Which should you choose?
- Choose the S25 Edge if a thinner, lighter handset and a larger, higher-resolution display are priorities, and its announced launch price is within your budget. Its cited camera specifications also document a 200 MP main camera and ultra-wide lens.
- Consider the Pixel 10a if you want a lower announced starting price, a stated 5,100 mAh typical battery capacity, or Google’s seven-year software-update promise.
- Compare further before buying if camera results, actual battery life, processor speed, or current value are decisive. The available specifications and launch announcements do not settle those questions with direct comparative tests or live prices.
These are different release dates and launch configurations, so the headline price gap is a historical U.S. comparison rather than a guaranteed present-day savings figure. Samsung’s cited materials here do not establish an S25 Edge update duration, which prevents a supported direct comparison of the two phones’ update periods.
