That page does not explicitly identify the build as ZTA. A third-party firmware index lists A115MUBU2BVB2 as its newest visible ZTA entry, dated April 3, 2022, so it should not be treated as Samsung’s definitive latest ZTA release. Check your phone’s CSC and build before updating; use Samsung’s over-the-air updater or Smart Switch before considering manual flashing.
Latest SM-A115M and ZTA records
The available records describe two different scopes. Samsung’s page is an official SM-A115M update history for Brazil, while the ZTA result comes from a third-party catalog. Because Samsung’s page does not visibly state that its latest entry is ZTA, the two records cannot be merged into one certain “latest ZTA firmware” claim.

Samsung’s record is at doc.samsungmobile.com/SM-A115M/013010200708/por-br.html. The catalog that labels ZTA, ZTM and ZTO as Brazilian channels is sfirmware.com/samsung-sm-a115m/; it is not Samsung’s download service.
Did the Galaxy A11 SM-A115M receive Android 12?
Yes. Samsung’s history records the Android 12 and One UI Core 4.1 transition with build A115MUBU3CVJ1, released October 26, 2022, with the August 1, 2022 security patch. Later Android 12 entries include:

The same history shows earlier Android generations, including A115MUBU2BUG1 (Android 11, July 28, 2021) and A115MUBU1ATK6 (Android 10, December 11, 2020). The Android 12 release added One UI Core 4.1 features such as color-palette customization and expanded privacy-permission controls. The cited record does not establish a formal end-of-support announcement or a newer release after December 5, 2023.
What ZTA means
SM-A115M identifies the Galaxy A11 model family. ZTA is a Brazilian CSC (country or carrier software configuration) used in firmware catalogs. Samsung’s Brazil product page identifies the dual-SIM product as SM-A115M/DS: samsung.com/br/support/model/SM-A115MZBSZTO/.
The CSC can influence regional settings, carrier provisioning, VoLTE and Wi-Fi Calling, Samsung services, preinstalled applications and update timing. Model number alone is therefore insufficient. Before selecting a package, identify the exact model, SIM configuration, CSC, country or carrier channel and bootloader revision.

Check the firmware already installed
On the phone, open Settings → About phone → Software information. Record these fields:
- Model number (for example, SM-A115M or SM-A115M/DS).
- Android version and One UI Core version.
- Build number.
- Baseband version.
- Service provider software version, which contains CSC information.
- Android security patch level.
Samsung documents this information path and notes that menu names can differ by model, software version and carrier: samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS10002027/. Save a screenshot or written copy before changing software.
Safest update method: over the air
- Back up photos, contacts, messages and authenticator data.
- Charge the phone to at least 50% and connect it to reliable Wi-Fi.
- Open Settings.
- Tap Software update or System updates.
- Choose Download and install, Check for system updates or the equivalent label.
- Download the offered package and follow the prompts.
- After reboot, return to Software information and verify the build and patch level.
During installation the phone may be unusable, files may be inaccessible and calls, including emergency calls, may not work. Do not interrupt a normal installation simply because the screen is inactive.

If no update appears
- “Your software is up to date” can mean that your exact CSC, carrier or product-code channel has not received the package.
- Changing SIM cards does not guarantee eligibility for another CSC’s rollout.
- Free internal storage, charge the battery and retry on stable Wi-Fi after restarting the phone.
- Rooted or otherwise modified software can prevent OTA installation; restore official software through an appropriate service path.
Update with Samsung Smart Switch
Smart Switch is Samsung’s official desktop alternative when an OTA update is unavailable. Download it from samsung.com/us/apps/smart-switch/.
- Install Smart Switch on a Windows PC or Mac.
- Connect the Galaxy A11 with a reliable USB data cable.
- Allow the program to detect the phone.
- Select Update if Samsung offers one.
- Follow the on-screen instructions and keep the cable connected until completion.
- Verify the build and security patch on the phone.
Smart Switch chooses the update path supported for the detected device; it normally does not let you force a historical ZTA build or select a different CSC.
Manual Odin flashing: advanced use only
Use Odin only when you understand Samsung firmware packages and have a recovery plan. A package commonly contains BL, AP, CP, CSC and HOME_CSC files.

- HOME_CSC is intended to preserve data where supported.
- CSC normally performs a clean installation and may erase the phone.
- Neither option is a guarantee against data loss; make a complete backup first.
Stop before flashing if the package does not clearly match SM-A115M, the phone’s SIM variant, CSC and bootloader or binary revision. Samsung’s bootloader rules can block downgrades, and an Android 10, 11 or 12 package is not automatically interchangeable with every unit. The available records do not verify a specific Odin package or guarantee a particular flashing procedure, so this article does not provide a direct firmware download.
Can ZTO or ZTM replace ZTA?
Firmware catalogs list ZTA, ZTM and ZTO as Brazilian SM-A115M channels, but a matching model number does not guarantee identical carrier behavior. Cross-CSC flashing can change regional configuration, erase data, alter VoLTE, Wi-Fi Calling, NFC, camera or payment behavior, and move the phone to a different update channel. Keep the original CSC unless a documented repair or service requirement justifies changing it.

Download fails or the update appears stuck
Use stable Wi-Fi, restart the phone, confirm free storage and retry. If the device remains unresponsive for an unusually long period, use the model’s recovery or service procedure rather than repeatedly forcing power off.

Boot loop after an update
Try a forced restart. If the loop continues, recovery-mode maintenance may help, but a factory reset can erase data; confirm the backup and account credentials before choosing it.
Odin reports FAIL or “Only official released binaries are allowed”
Recheck model, CSC, package integrity and bootloader revision. The message can indicate an incompatible, unsigned or prohibited older package. Try another known-good cable and USB port only after those identity checks.
No mobile data or carrier features after flashing
Check APN and carrier provisioning, but recognize that the CSC may have changed. VoLTE, NFC, camera or Samsung payment problems can likewise result from regional firmware differences.
Accounts, locks and resets
Firmware does not remove carrier locks, Google accounts, Samsung accounts or Factory Reset Protection (FRP). After a reset, the previously associated Google account may be required.
When to use authorized repair
For a bricked phone, damaged USB port, failed update, FRP complication or uncertainty about manual flashing, use Samsung support or an authorized location: samsung.com/us/support/service/locations/. Pricing depends on the device, fault and location.
