- Model name (example: Galaxy A55, A54, A34—your exact model matters)
- Software information
- Android version and One UI version

Storage, battery, and network requirements

Method 2: Samsung Smart Switch (PC/Mac backup + install)
If OTA isn’t working (or you want a more controlled setup), Smart Switch is a solid fallback.
- Install Samsung Smart Switch on Windows or macOS.
- Connect your Galaxy A via USB.
- Open Smart Switch and choose Backup first.
- Then select Update if an update is available.
- Follow prompts until the device reboots with the new software.
Always keep the cable connected and avoid touching the phone during installation.
Method 3: Check for Security patch vs Feature updates

Enable permissions the features require
AI features often need standard permissions. The common ones:
- Camera (for image understanding)
- Microphone (for voice or note transcription)
- Photos/Files (for processing existing images)
- Accessibility (for assistive features, when applicable)
Review them under Settings > Apps > [app name] > Permissions.
Quick test: verify each feature works
