Use the Samsung account already associated with your Cloud data. On a Galaxy phone or tablet, open Settings, tap your Samsung account name, then tap Samsung Cloud. On a computer, open the Samsung Cloud website, choose Sign in, and follow any verification prompts.
How do I sign into Samsung Cloud on a Galaxy phone or tablet?
- Open Settings.
- Tap the Samsung account name at the top of the screen.
- Tap Samsung Cloud.
- Choose the sync, backup, or restore controls available on your device.
The available controls and menu route can vary by device, country, carrier, and software version. If Samsung Cloud does not appear, check the Samsung account and cloud options shown in your device’s Settings.

How do I access Samsung Cloud on my computer?
- Open a browser and go to the Samsung Cloud website.
- Select Sign in and enter the Samsung account credentials associated with your data. Samsung recommends Chrome for the best browser results.
- Complete any verification steps shown on screen.
- If you do not know your account ID, select Find ID in the sign-in flow.
To sign out, open the account menu in the upper-right corner and choose the sign-out option.

Why is Samsung Cloud asking me to verify my sign-in?
Samsung may use more than one verification step in a browser. It can first send a code by text. When you then try to access Cloud data, Samsung may request approval on a phone or tablet that is already signed into the same account. This approval is a device notification, not another text message, and it may take a few minutes to arrive. Tap the notification and choose Allow.

How do I use Samsung Cloud?
On a Galaxy device, the Samsung Cloud screen provides the sync, backup, and restore controls supported by that device. In the browser portal, you can view synced data and a list of backed-up devices. The portal does not let you download backup files individually; Samsung says backups must be synced to a compatible device for recovery.
Sync and device backup are different
Sync keeps selected supported information aligned across devices using the same Samsung account. A change or deletion to synced information can carry across those devices. A device backup is for restoring data to a compatible device later, rather than browsing and downloading its files one by one from the website.

What should I know about availability and supported data?
- Samsung Cloud settings and supported features vary by device, operating system, country, carrier, and software version. Samsung says the service is unavailable on Verizon phones and tablets and in some countries, so check what your own device offers.
- Samsung’s US support guidance says Gallery photos and videos are not backed up to Samsung Cloud; Gallery sync is available through Microsoft OneDrive. This is a US-specific Gallery detail, not a requirement for signing into Samsung Cloud.
- Samsung warns that Cloud data unused for more than 12 months may be deleted after advance notice. Signing in does not guarantee recovery of data that has already been deleted.
