The Associated Press reported that Kyiv had faced repeated air-raid alerts and drone and missile strikes in recent weeks. It also reported that Ukrainian officials did not report energy infrastructure hit in Kyiv on October 1, the day after officials described a major attack on the power grid. That statement concerns Kyiv on that date; it does not describe energy infrastructure elsewhere in Ukraine or on other days.
