Rune Slayer class tier list
Pocket Gamer’s September 2, 2026 class ranking is a useful snapshot, but it is not definitive. The guide says Rune Slayer has six classes while its tier list includes seven names, adding Samurai to the six-class roster listed by another recent guide. MobileMatters also uses Ranger where Pocket Gamer says Archer, and its placements differ. Confirm names and availability in your current game before choosing around a specific label.

How to choose a class for your play style
Rather than treating a tier as a guarantee, match the class to the role you want to play. The available class guides support these decision points:

- Prefer ranged damage? Archer is described as a burst-damage choice, while Magician focuses on long-range damage and buffs.
- Want to stay in melee? Warrior is the more durable, crowd-control-oriented option in Pocket Gamer’s descriptions. Striker is also melee-focused, but the guide characterizes it as less tanky.
- Value speed over staying power? Thief is described as fast and squishy, so it may appeal if you favor an assassin-style approach and accept lower durability.
- Playing with a group? Magician’s buffs and Priest’s healing can offer team utility. Priest’s limited solo damage makes its listed C tier less informative for a player who expects to support a party.
- Mostly playing alone? Consider how much you rely on your own damage and survivability; the guides provide role descriptions, not a measured solo-performance comparison.
MobileMatters’ August 2026 guide gives a different ranking: it lists Ranger in S tier, places Priest in S, and puts Magician in A. Its roster names Warrior, Archer, Magician, Striker, Thief, and Priest. Rune Slayer species tier list
Pocket Gamer’s September 2, 2026 guide places the following species in each tier. The same page says there are 12 species but names 14 in its table, so treat the table as the guide’s ranking rather than a verified complete roster.

Pocket Gamer’s species ranking is not the only interpretation: Gamezebo’s race ranking puts Slime and Half-Golem in S tier. That difference is a reminder that a tier can reflect a guide’s priorities rather than an objectively settled meta.
Species traits that may affect your choice
Traits can be more useful than a tier label when you are deciding what complements your build. Pocket Gamer highlights Seraphim’s +2.5% fire resistance and +1 Luck; Human’s increased damage against undead and Surge stamina effect; Elf’s reduced cooldown and invisibility; and Slime’s passive HP restoration from collected blobs. These are guide-reported details, not independently verified measurements.

Gamezebo reports additional figures for Human and Elf. Its guide lists Human with a 25.3% roll chance and a Tenacity passive that grants a 15% damage buff and 15% damage reduction below 50% HP. It lists Elf with a 25.3% roll chance, +3% speed, +10% cooldown reduction, and +10% stealth. Gamezebo’s listed roll chances for several races do not form a complete normalized probability distribution: the figures supplied include Human 25.3%, Orc 25.3%, Elf 25.3%, Ailuran 10%, Slime 6%, Dullahan 2%, Bunny 4.412%, Ghoul 14.25%, Seraphim 1%, and Chiroptran 7.143%. Do not use those values as if they described one complete set of mutually exclusive odds.

- They can help narrow your options: use class roles and species traits to identify choices that suit ranged or melee combat, damage, durability, control, healing, or support.
