Rojgar With Ankit (RWA), an Indian competitive-exam preparation platform founded by Ankit Bhati, is discussing its first institutional funding round with venture capital investors. The reports available as of October 13, 2026 describe ongoing talks—not a completed investment—and disclose no amount or valuation. Financial Express reported on October 9, 2026 that RWA was in discussions with venture capital investors for its maiden institutional round. ET Edge Insights reported the talks on October 12. Neither account says an agreement has been finalized or funds have been received. The amount sought and the company’s proposed valuation were not disclosed, so a round size cannot be inferred.

RWA’s reported core business is preparation for competitive exams, including SSC, railway, banking, defence, police and teaching examinations. Its reach figures come from the company as reported by ET Edge Insights: RWA says its YouTube channel has 19.7 million subscribers and its app has more than 10 million downloads. ET Edge Insights also describes RWA as profitable and EBITDA-positive, attributing that characterization to the company. The report provides no audited financial statements or quantified profit figure, so the claim should not be read as an independently established measure of profitability.

How the October funding report differs from April’s stake-talk report
The October reports should not be conflated with an earlier account about a possible strategic transaction. On April 14, 2026, Business Standard reported that PhysicsWallah was in talks to acquire a stake in RWA, citing people familiar with the development. It said financial details were not known and quoted PhysicsWallah saying the reports were speculative. The October funding coverage does not establish whether those earlier discussions progressed, nor does it identify the venture-capital talks as the same transaction.

Business Standard quoted PhysicsWallah as saying: “The Company continuously evaluates various strategic opportunities to support the growth and expansion of its business. At this stage, any information or reports are purely speculative in nature. We will not comment on market rumours or conjecture.” That statement addressed the April stake-talk report; it is not confirmation of an acquisition or of the October fundraising discussions.
