Missing verification codes, browser errors, and unavailable recovery details each need a different fix; follow the section that matches what you see.
Check the username or email you’re using
Make sure you’re trying to access the intended Roblox account. If signing in with an email address fails, try the account’s username. Email sign-in requires an email associated with the account and verified. If that email is associated with more than one Roblox username, Roblox requires you to sign in with a username and password.

If you’ve forgotten the username, use Roblox’s Forgot Password or Username flow with the account’s email or phone number. Some Roblox purchase receipts may also show the username. Without an associated email, phone number, or purchase history, Roblox’s documented options may not be enough to identify it.

- On the Roblox Login page, select Forgot Password or Username?
- Enter the email address associated with the account. Check spam or junk if the reset message does not arrive.
- If the account has a phone number but no email, choose the phone tab and complete phone verification.
- Set a new, unique password rather than reusing one from another account.
Password recovery depends on having access to an email address or phone number attached to the account. If neither is attached, contact Roblox Customer Support and explain the login problem. Roblox requires account-ownership verification before resetting an account or changing its information, so access cannot be guaranteed without verification.

Fix a missing or rejected 2-Step Verification code
Email codes
- Confirm you’re checking the email address attached to the Roblox account.
- Look in spam, junk, promotions, social, and other filtered folders.
- Use Resend Code or Start Over to request a fresh code. Roblox says email 2-Step Verification codes expire after 15 minutes, and a code may stop working after an incorrect entry.
- If a different verification method is available, try it. If a fresh code still fails, contact Roblox Support.
Authenticator or second-device approval
Use the current code displayed in your authenticator app. If Roblox asks you to approve a login on another device and you cannot use that device, choose an offered alternative such as an email or backup code. If no method is usable, contact Support.
Deny a verification request you did not initiate. If the attempt suggests someone else knows your password, change it as soon as you can access the account.

Troubleshoot browser sign-in and captcha problems
If your credentials are correct but the browser sign-in flow still fails, Roblox recommends its general website troubleshooting steps. These include clearing temporary internet files and cookies. They are steps to try, not guaranteed fixes.

- If the captcha does not load, Roblox says to allowlist
.arkoselabs.comand.funcaptcha.com. - Check that your computer’s date and time are accurate; Roblox notes an incorrect clock can cause login trouble.
If the browser steps do not help, try password recovery if you can access an attached recovery method, or contact Support.

Know when alternate sign-in methods will work
Email one-time codes
Roblox offers email one-time-code sign-in only to some players. It requires a verified email address. If a code does not arrive, check filtered folders, confirm the exact verified address, and request another code. Never share a sign-in code with anyone.
Quick Login
Quick Login lets an already signed-in device approve access on a new nearby device. The code shown on the new device is valid for five minutes. The feature may not be available to everyone and is unavailable on Xbox. For QR sign-in trouble, update the Roblox app, check that the device scanning the code is logged in, or enter the displayed code instead.

When to contact Roblox Support
Contact Roblox Customer Support if the account has no attached recovery email or phone, password reset is unavailable, or you cannot use any offered 2-Step Verification method. Describe the problem and be prepared to verify that you own the account. Roblox’s recovery guidance does not promise access without that verification.
If the same problem affects multiple users or devices, check Roblox’s official status page for service updates rather than assuming the issue is limited to your account.

Reduce the chance of another lockout
- Add and verify a recovery email or phone number where available; Roblox strongly recommends adding an email address to your account.
- Keep backup verification methods available and use a unique password. Roblox recommends a password manager for creating strong, unique passwords.
- Roblox also supports physical security keys for 2-Step Verification, including YubiKey 5 and Google Titan Security Key. This option depends on your browser, operating system, and device, and requires Authenticator App verification. A security key is a preventive measure, not a way to recover an account you cannot access.
