The listing does not say who commissioned the review, which clinics or issues it covers, or when findings are expected. No review findings are established in the available reporting.
What has been reported about the review
Te Puke Today’s homepage item, titled “Review into OmniHealth Clinics Initiated Following Resignations,” says a review of OmniHealth clinics is underway following resignations at Pahiatua Medical Centre. The linked story was unavailable, so the listing supports the announcement and its chronology, but not details about the review’s scope, commissioner, process or timetable.
That distinction matters: the reported review is not itself evidence that the concerns raised by staff have been confirmed, nor is there an available findings document showing what it concluded.
What staff concerns were reported before the announcement
RNZ-derived coverage in September described concerns raised by Pahiatua staff about under-resourcing, screening delays, appointment waits and nursing capacity. These are staff accounts reported by news outlets, not findings of the later review.

- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
17–18 September: threatened resignations and reported response
An accessible mirror of RNZ’s 17 September report said staff threatened to resign unless concerns about resourcing were addressed. A fuller RNZ-derived account published by News Wire on 18 September said frontline staff had set 16 October as a resignation date if their request for a broader review was not met. It attributed concerns about screening, appointment access and nursing capacity to staff, including nurse practitioner Victoria Perry.
The 18 September account also reported that PHO chief executive Tony Wai said the organisation was working with Health New Zealand and considering options to support the service. It said the practice remained open and services continued. Those are reported statements, not an independent audit of service availability.

21 September: further reporting on resignations
An RNZ Checkpoint podcast listing dated 21 September said six staff had tendered resignations after a threatened walkout and a meeting with managers, citing workload and safety concerns. The listing is a short episode description, not a transcript or clinical assessment.
A 22 September New Zealand Doctor search excerpt also said six staff members had quit over patient-safety concerns and that OmniHealth admitted mistakes. The full article was not available, so that reported admission cannot be described or elaborated on here.

These are company-published figures; the page does not provide a dated methodology, and the numbers do not describe the review or establish patient-safety outcomes.

What remains unknown
The available announcement and earlier coverage do not establish:
- Who formally commissioned the review.
- Whether it covers every OmniHealth clinic or a narrower group, and which issues it will examine.
- Its method, timetable or expected publication date.
- Whether the reported resignations are final or what the latest service-continuity position is at Pahiatua Medical Centre or Taitoko Health.
- Any findings or conclusions from the review.
Until those details are published by the commissioner or confirmed in full reporting, the reported concerns should remain attributed to staff and the PHO response attributed to its chief executive. They should not be treated as findings about all clinics in OmniHealth’s network.
