Its China launch price started at ¥1,999 for 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The performance-focused phone uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, alongside a 6.67-inch 1.5K 120Hz display, a 5,000mAh battery and 90W wired charging. For buyers outside China, the closely corresponding global-market phone is the POCO F6.
Redmi Turbo 3 price and China availability
The Redmi Turbo 3 was announced in China on April 10, 2024, and went on sale there on April 15. These are the original China launch prices, not current 2026 quotes or prices for other countries.
| Configuration | China launch price |
|---|---|
| 12GB RAM + 256GB storage | ¥1,999 |
| 12GB RAM + 512GB storage | ¥2,299 |
| 16GB RAM + 512GB storage | ¥2,499 |
| 16GB RAM + 1TB storage | ¥2,799 |
| Harry Potter Edition, 16GB RAM + 512GB storage | ¥2,699 |
The Harry Potter Edition is a special model rather than a standard memory tier. China launch prices do not convert directly into equivalent overseas retail prices: an imported phone can incur shipping, taxes and reseller costs, and may have different warranty and return coverage. ITHome’s launch report lists the China pricing and sale date; Xiaomi’s Redmi Turbo 3 specifications page identifies the China-market model.
Redmi Turbo 3 specifications
The following launch-era details describe the Redmi Turbo 3 unless a POCO F6 source is specifically identified. The POCO F6 is a corresponding global-market product with closely matching core hardware, but the models are not identical in every configuration or regional detail.

Display and camera details above are drawn from launch coverage, including Gadgets 360’s launch report and ITHome’s report. The POCO F6 specification page reports 446 pixels per inch, up to 480Hz touch sampling and a higher instantaneous touch-sampling mode for gaming; it also lists Gorilla Glass Victus for that global model. Do not assume every POCO detail applies to the China Redmi in precisely the same way.
What the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 means
The processor’s full name is Snapdragon 8s Gen 3—not Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. It belongs to Qualcomm’s premium 8-series, but the “s” model is positioned below the top Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 rather than being an identical substitute. Qualcomm describes the platform as a 4nm chip with on-device generative-AI capabilities, gaming and imaging features, and a Snapdragon X70 5G modem-RF system. Its listed CPU arrangement is one Cortex-X4-class prime core up to 3.0GHz, four performance cores up to 2.8GHz and three efficiency cores up to 2.0GHz. See Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 specifications and its announcement of the platform.
That combination, plus LPDDR5X memory and UFS 4.0 storage, makes the Turbo 3 a performance-led phone on paper. Redmi launch comparisons to other Snapdragon chips or benchmark scores are claims from launch material, not independent results that establish how every game or workload will perform. The 120Hz display is useful for smooth scrolling and supported games, but refresh rate alone does not guarantee a particular frame rate or sustained performance.
Display, cameras, battery and durability
1.5K OLED display
The 6.67-inch panel has a resolution of 1,220 × 2,712 pixels and supports refresh rates up to 120Hz, HDR10+ and Dolby Vision. The reported 2,400-nit figure is a peak brightness specification, not a promise that the whole screen sustains that output in every setting. Actual outdoor visibility depends on brightness behavior, content, heat and duration.

Dual rear cameras
Launch reporting describes a 50MP main camera paired with an 8MP ultrawide and a 20MP front camera. The phone has no dedicated telephoto camera, so its camera arrangement is less versatile for optical zoom than systems that include one. For a more detailed, official global reference, the POCO F6 specification page lists a 50MP Sony IMX882 main camera with optical image stabilization, an 8MP ultrawide, a 20MP selfie camera, rear recording up to 4K at 60 frames per second and front 1080p recording up to 60 frames per second. Those are POCO F6 specifications; regional software or features should not be presumed identical on the Redmi model.
5,000mAh battery and 90W wired charging
The Turbo 3 has a 5,000mAh battery and supports 90W wired charging. ITHome reported roughly 12 minutes to reach 50% and about 35 minutes for a full charge; these launch figures are not guaranteed user results and vary with temperature, battery state, charger and cable. The 90W rating is a charging capability, not a claim that the phone draws that power throughout the whole cycle. The global POCO F6 page also claims an approximately 35-minute full charge under its stated test conditions and lists a 90W in-box charger, though package contents can vary by market. The cited specifications do not identify wireless charging.

Build and splash resistance
Launch coverage reports a 7.8mm-thick, approximately 179g phone with a flat display and a value-oriented plastic-frame design. Its IP64 rating means dust resistance and protection from water splashes under the rating’s conditions; it is not waterproofing and does not make submersion safe.

| Network information | China-market configuration; verify exact model bands before purchase | Regional 5G bands are listed; availability depends on region and operator |
The POCO F6 offers a global-market package and regional band information, while the Turbo 3 offers China configurations up to 16GB/1TB. The POCO F6’s official product page is the more useful starting point for checking availability in a buyer’s market; no current price is established here.
Should you import the Redmi Turbo 3?
An import may suit a buyer who prioritizes performance, high refresh rate, fast wired charging and the larger China memory/storage tiers, and who is comfortable evaluating a China-market phone. The launch price alone is not a full ownership-cost comparison against a local handset.
- Software and localization: confirm language options, Google-services compatibility, local app behavior and the phone’s current software before paying.
- Network compatibility: compare the exact imported model’s bands with your carrier. The POCO F6 page lists region-specific bands and notes that 5G availability depends on operator and region.
- Warranty and returns: check who will handle repair, warranty claims and returns in your country; local support is not established by a China launch price.
- Updates and conversion: verify OTA-update behavior for the specific model. Do not assume bootloader or ROM-conversion options, or rely on unofficial conversion services.
- Package and compliance: check the charger plug, included accessories and regulatory markings for the unit being sold.
For a straightforward purchase outside mainland China, the POCO F6 is generally the safer route to investigate because it is the global counterpart and has regional specifications. That is practical guidance, not a guarantee of availability, carrier compatibility or warranty in every country.
Who is the Redmi Turbo 3 for?
- Consider it if performance, a 120Hz display, fast charging and high storage capacity matter more than buying a locally supported model.
- Prefer the POCO F6 or another local-market phone if you need predictable regional network support, local warranty and returns, or a simpler out-of-box regional software experience.
- Look elsewhere if you need a telephoto camera, wireless charging or a premium metal-and-glass build.
The Redmi Turbo 3 was a compelling performance-per-yuan proposition at its 2024 China launch, but it is not a new 2026 release or a universal overseas retail product. International buyers should distinguish the China model from the closely related POCO F6 before comparing prices or ordering.
