The price comparison depends on which storage variant you buy. Xiaomi India’s store displayed the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max 5G in 8GB/256GB at ₹49,999 when accessed in 2026. 91mobiles reported a Flipkart offer of ₹49,999 for the Nothing Phone (4a) Pro in 8GB/128GB, and ₹52,999 for its 8GB/256GB variant. At the shared reported price, Redmi therefore offers twice the listed storage. The Nothing 8GB/256GB version costs ₹3,000 more in the cited offer. The comparison also reports Nothing launch prices of ₹39,999 for 8GB/128GB, ₹42,999 for 8GB/256GB and ₹45,999 for 12GB/256GB, followed by higher official prices of ₹54,999, ₹57,999 and ₹55,999 respectively. These changing prices make it especially important to check the exact variant and seller before ordering.

Choose Nothing for the telephoto camera and higher-tier listed chipset
- You expect to use a dedicated 3.5x optical periscope camera for distant subjects.
- You value a 144Hz display and the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 specification more than Redmi’s larger storage and battery figures.
- You are comfortable with the reported ₹49,999 8GB/128GB offer, or willing to pay more for the 8GB/256GB version.
The camera specifications describe the available hardware; they do not establish which phone takes better photos. Likewise, the processor tier alone is not a substitute for comparable benchmark or gaming tests.

Battery capacity is reported differently across the available sources. 91mobiles gives the India-specific Nothing Phone (4a) Pro figure as 5,400mAh. Digital Camera World’s March 19, 2026 review lists 5,080mAh, along with 50W charging, a 6.83-inch 144Hz AMOLED display, Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, 50MP main and telephoto cameras, and Nothing OS 4.1 based on Android 16. These figures should not be blended into one universal specification: the 5,400mAh figure is specifically the India figure reported by 91mobiles, while the cited review lists 5,080mAh. At the reported ₹49,999 price, Redmi is the stronger capacity-and-battery value: its listed configuration has 256GB storage and a stated 10,000mAh battery. Nothing makes the stronger case if you prioritize its 3.5x optical periscope camera, 144Hz screen and higher-tier listed processor—and accept 128GB at that price. The right choice turns on which of those trade-offs matters more to you, not on a universal winner.
