For the India listings reviewed on October 5, 2026, the Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G costs ₹31,999 for 8GB/128GB and the Redmi Turbo 5 costs ₹41,999 for 8GB/256GB. That is a ₹10,000 difference, but not a like-for-like price comparison: the Turbo listing has twice the storage, and the Note 15 Pro was marked out of stock. On published specifications, the Turbo 5 is the performance choice; the Note 15 Pro has the larger listed display and higher-resolution, optically stabilized main-camera hardware.

91mobiles reports Geekbench multi-core scores of 6,657 for the Turbo 5 and 2,938 for the Note 15 Pro, and AnTuTu scores of 2,135,669 and 945,828. These are publisher-reported comparison values, not results from a controlled test conducted for this article. The reviewed comparison does not provide enough methodology to establish a lab-style head-to-head; benchmark scores can vary with software, benchmark version, settings and thermal conditions. Treat the gap as an indication of the Turbo 5’s performance positioning, not a guarantee that every task will feel a particular amount faster.
Which phone has the better display?
On the listed dimensions, the Note 15 Pro 5G has the larger screen: 6.83 inches versus 6.59 inches for the Turbo 5. Both are listed as 120Hz AMOLED displays by 91mobiles. Choose based on whether you prefer more screen area or a more compact phone; the reviewed comparison does not establish a full, directly comparable set of display measurements for both exact India SKUs.

Battery capacity versus reported endurance
Xiaomi lists a 6,580mAh silicon-carbon battery and 45W charging for the Note 15 Pro 5G. Separately, 91mobiles reports battery-test durations of 14 hours 22 minutes for the Note 15 Pro and 16 hours 5 minutes for the Turbo 5. The reviewed material does not establish enough about the test conditions to predict each owner’s everyday battery life. Battery capacity and a publisher’s test duration are different measures.

Software version and update commitment
Xiaomi’s current product page describes the Note 15 Pro 5G with HyperOS 3 on Android 15 and four years of OS updates plus six years of security updates. TechRadar’s May 2026 review described the phone’s launch software as HyperOS 2 based on Android 15, while reporting the same update durations. The difference may reflect page timing or a later software build; check the exact phone’s installed version and local support terms. A comparable Turbo 5 update commitment was not established in the reviewed sources.

TechRadar’s reviewer also noted substantial preinstalled software, ads and notifications on the Note 15 Pro. That is a review observation, rather than a specification that necessarily describes every regional build.
Water and dust resistance
Xiaomi makes IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K resistance claims for the Note 15 Pro 5G and describes its structure as drop-resistant. Treat these as claims for the specified model, not a reason to expose a phone deliberately to water or drops: resistance can diminish with wear, and warranty coverage is a separate matter. Confirm the rating and terms for the exact regional SKU. The reviewed sources do not establish comparable durability ratings for the Turbo 5.

Connectivity and box contents
Xiaomi’s India specifications page lists 5G, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.4 for the Note 15 Pro 5G. Its India product information lists an adapter, USB Type-C cable, SIM tool, protective case, quick-start guide and warranty card in the box. Bundled items can vary by market and seller. The reviewed material does not establish equivalent Turbo 5 connectivity and package details, so check the seller’s listing for the exact unit.
Quick Recap
Which one should you buy?
- Choose the Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G if a larger 6.83-inch display and 200MP OIS main-camera hardware matter more to you, and its price and stock are favorable in your market.
- Consider the Redmi Turbo 5 if processor performance is the priority and you are comfortable with the smaller listed 6.59-inch screen. Its processor and 91mobiles-reported benchmark figures are higher.
- Compare matching configurations before paying. The reviewed India store prices differ by ₹10,000, but compare the storage you actually need, current availability, seller and warranty—not just the headline prices.
Check these details before ordering
- Confirm the full model name and regional SKU. “Redmi Note 15 Pro” naming does not guarantee that every country’s version has the same specifications.
- Match RAM and storage, then compare the current price from the seller you intend to use. The India snapshot above is dated October 5, 2026, and the Note 15 Pro listing was out of stock.
- Verify network bands, warranty, software build and included accessories for the exact phone and country. These may differ by SKU or seller.
- For the Turbo 5, confirm display, camera, battery, charging and durability specifications against its precise local listing; the reviewed third-party comparison supplies several of those details, but a comparable official specification page was not established.
