For an India-focused comparison, the available specifications point to two different priorities: Xiaomi’s global Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G lists a sharper AMOLED display, a higher-resolution main camera and faster charging, while OPPO India’s A3 Pro 5G (CPH2665) has a larger, lower-resolution LCD and includes a charger in the box. The OPPO A3 Pro name also covers a different China-market phone, so check the exact model before relying on any comparison.
Which models are being compared?
This comparison uses Xiaomi’s global specification listing for the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G and OPPO India’s A3 Pro 5G, model CPH2665. These are manufacturer-published specifications, not the results of independent testing. Regional versions can differ, so the figures should not be assumed to describe every national SKU.

OPPO’s China-market A3 Pro is a materially different device, with different processor, display, camera and battery specifications from India’s CPH2665. Do not use China-model specifications to evaluate the India phone. OPPO India’s CPH2665 specifications and OPPO China’s A3 Pro page identify the regional distinction.

Where the specification differences matter
Display: resolution and panel type, not just refresh rate
Both listings specify a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, but that is only one part of the display comparison. Xiaomi lists an AMOLED panel at 2712 × 1220, while OPPO India lists an LCD at 1604 × 720. The OPPO screen is larger diagonally, but its listed resolution is lower; the shared refresh-rate ceiling does not make the panels equivalent.
Cameras: hardware counts are not photo-quality results
Xiaomi lists a 200MP main camera with optical image stabilisation (OIS), an 8MP ultra-wide and a 2MP macro. OPPO India lists a 50MP main camera and a 2MP portrait camera. Those figures describe the camera hardware, not the quality of the photos: megapixel counts alone cannot establish which phone takes better pictures, and no independent camera comparison is available here.

Charging and what comes in the box
Xiaomi lists a typical 5110mAh battery and 120W HyperCharge, but says the adapter is not included on its global page. OPPO India lists a typical 5100mAh battery, 45W SUPERVOOC charging, and a charger in the box. If you are comparing total cost, check the exact local Xiaomi package and whether you already own a compatible adapter.
Processor claims and performance evidence
The listed processors are Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 for Xiaomi’s global model and MediaTek Dimensity 6300 for OPPO India’s CPH2665. OPPO described the latter as delivering “better performance and added 5G capabilities at lower power consumption” in its June 21, 2024 launch announcement. That is OPPO’s manufacturer wording, not an independent head-to-head performance result. OPPO India’s launch announcement

Price difference in India: what is established
OPPO India announced launch prices on June 21, 2024 of INR 17,999 for the 128GB version and INR 19,999 for the 256GB version. These are historical launch prices, not verified current retail prices. The available Xiaomi global specifications page does not establish a current India price, so a present-day price gap cannot be calculated from these figures.
For a fair current comparison, check both phones’ India prices for the same storage capacity and sale conditions. The OPPO launch announcement named Amazon, Flipkart, OPPO Store and retail outlets as launch sales channels, but that does not confirm current stock or pricing. Which one should you choose?
- Consider the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G if its global-listed features match the India SKU you are buying and you value the higher-resolution AMOLED display, the listed 200MP OIS main camera, or 120W charging. Factor in the possibility that the adapter is sold separately.
- Consider the OPPO A3 Pro 5G (CPH2665) if you prefer its larger display, want a charger and case listed in the box, or find it at a suitable current price. Its India listing specifies an HD+ LCD and 45W charging rather than the Xiaomi-listed panel and charging specifications.
- Before ordering either phone, verify the model number, storage, local network-band support, included accessories and warranty for the seller’s exact listing. Do not apply China OPPO A3 Pro specifications to the India CPH2665.
What the specifications cannot settle
The manufacturer pages establish the listed hardware and, for OPPO India, box contents. They do not establish comparative benchmark performance, real-world battery endurance, camera results, durability or a current price advantage. Treat those as open questions rather than inferring a winner from spec-sheet figures alone.
