These are supplementary perks, not dependable income, and the verified information does not support an active list of eleven comparable receipt-scanning apps.
How receipt apps turn purchases into rewards
Apps use different reward models, so check what you can actually redeem before sharing receipts or changing where you shop.

- Receipt-based points: Submit eligible receipts and earn points or coins. These usually convert to rewards in an app catalog, not withdrawable money.
- Offer-based cash back: Select eligible offers before shopping, buy qualifying products, and submit proof of purchase. Cash back may be withdrawable, but only after you meet the service’s rules and minimum.
- Invitation-based receipt programs: An app may accept participants only when space is available. A published reward ceiling does not mean every reader can join.
Do not buy something solely to earn a reward unless you would have bought it anyway. Offers, qualifying retailers, redemption choices and terms can change.

What each app actually pays
Fetch: points for rewards, not cash
Fetch’s terms state that points have no monetary value and cannot be redeemed for cash. They are exchanged for options in the in-app catalog. The Fetch FAQ says most rewards require at least 3,000 points and that processing can take up to 72 hours. Physical receipts must be submitted within 14 days. Ibotta: cash back tied to activated offers
Ibotta’s process is to add offers, shop for the qualifying items, submit a receipt and withdraw once earnings reach $20, using a linked bank account or gift card. That makes it different from an app that awards points simply for scanning a receipt: the purchase must match an offer. Ibotta says, “Our savers earn $218 a year on average.” That is the company’s own average-saver claim on its consumer page, not a promise about what an individual will earn. Its retailer and cumulative-payment figures on that page are also company-reported and may change. See Ibotta’s consumer site for current offers and terms.
Receipt Hog: coins with several redemption choices
Receipt Hog’s help center lists PayPal, Amazon e-gift cards and Visa e-gift cards as redemption options once an account has at least 1,000 coins. A Visa e-gift card may have activation and use deadlines, so inspect the terms shown for that reward before redeeming. See Receipt Hog’s redemption options.

Amazon Shopper Panel: limited enrollment, capped receipt rewards
Amazon describes the Shopper Panel as an opt-in, invitation-only program. Its official page lists availability in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Germany, France, Spain and Japan for limited numbers of customers aged 18 and older. The receipt component offers up to $10 per month toward Amazon Balance or a charity donation; it is not a general cash withdrawal. Amazon says it receives information participants choose to share, including extracted retailer and product data, and says sensitive information such as prescription information is deleted. Why this is not a verified list of eleven
The available current information establishes four services with distinct receipt-related mechanics, not eleven active, comparable apps that scan receipts and pay cash or gift cards. Adding unrelated shopping portals or services without current evidence would make the list less useful. In its comparison updated September 18, 2026, Finder reports that Shopkick and Dosh have ceased operating; do not rely on older lists that still present them as active. Choose based on the reward and the receipt rules
- If you want withdrawable cash: Ibotta is the clearest fit among the services above, but it requires matching purchases to offers and reaching its $20 withdrawal minimum. Receipt Hog offers PayPal redemption after the coin threshold, subject to its current redemption terms.
- If gift cards or catalog rewards are useful: Fetch trades points for catalog options; Receipt Hog has e-gift card choices. Neither should be treated as a cash equivalent without checking the exact reward and terms.
- If you are already invited: Amazon Shopper Panel may suit someone comfortable earning Amazon Balance or donating the reward, within its monthly receipt limit.
- Before submitting anything: Check the receipt age limit, eligible merchants and products, whether an offer must be activated first, how digital receipts work, the redemption threshold and processing time.
Consider what receipt data reveals
A receipt can expose where and when you shop and what you buy. Fetch says digital receipt participation requires linking an email or consumer account and authorizes access to transactional information such as receipts and order confirmations. Amazon says participants choose what to share and can stop sharing or delete receipts. Review each service’s current privacy terms and account-linking permissions before connecting an inbox or retailer account; the reward is the trade-off for sharing purchase information.
