Battery and charging: realme leads on capacity and rated power
realme lists a 10,001mAh battery and 80W charging for the P4 Power. The comparison reports an 8,000mAh battery and 45W wired charging for the POCO M8 Power 5G. Both are also reported to support wired reverse charging.
Those figures make realme the stronger on-paper choice if battery capacity and charging rate are priorities. They do not establish how many hours either phone will last for a particular person, or how long a full charge will take: usage, settings and charging conditions affect real-world results. realme’s product page gives battery-duration figures attributed to realme Lab, including 11.7 hours of BGMI and 32.5 hours of YouTube use, and cautions that actual results may vary. These are manufacturer test claims, not independent comparative results.

Displays: higher resolution and refresh rate on realme, larger reported screen on POCO
realme specifies a 144Hz 1.5K curved display. POCO launch coverage describes a 6.83-inch Full HD+ AMOLED screen with adaptive refresh up to 120Hz. On the stated specifications, realme has the higher resolution and refresh rate, while POCO has the slightly larger screen diagonal.
A higher refresh-rate figure can allow smoother motion in supported content, but does not by itself prove a better overall display or guarantee a particular experience in every app. Brightness figures should not be treated as directly comparable unless measurement methods and conditions match; the available reporting does not establish such a controlled comparison.

The comparison also judges realme better suited to heavier use. That is a published spec-based assessment, not a benchmark result or a claim based on independent testing. Megapixel counts and chipset names alone do not establish actual photo quality or performance in every workload.

Software support: POCO has the longer reported commitment
The 91mobiles comparison reports four Android-version upgrades and six years of security patches for the POCO, compared with three Android-version updates and four years of security updates for the realme. On that account, POCO is the better fit for buyers who prioritize a longer stated support period.

Support terms can depend on region and the applicable device policy. Check the commitment for the exact local model before purchase rather than assuming a policy reported for one market applies everywhere.
Size, weight and protection: choose between a thinner POCO and stronger realme ratings
The comparison reports the realme at 215–219g and 9.1mm thick, and the POCO at 225g and about 8.4mm thick. The reported figures suggest the realme is lighter but thicker, while the POCO is heavier but thinner. The realme’s weight range means the exact figure may vary by version or configuration; check the local SKU.
The same comparison describes IP66/IP68/IP69 ratings for realme and IP65 for POCO. These are different dust- and water-resistance ratings, but they should not be treated as permission to expose either phone to water without checking the manufacturer’s terms. Regional specifications and warranty conditions matter when protection is a deciding factor.
Which phone should you choose?
Choose the realme P4 Power if
- You want the larger stated battery and higher rated charging power.
- You value a higher-resolution, higher-refresh curved display.
- You want OIS on the listed main camera and a separate ultrawide rear camera.
- You prefer the realme’s reported dust- and water-protection ratings.
Choose the POCO M8 Power 5G if
- You want the lower reported price for an 8GB/128GB phone.
- You value the longer software-support commitment reported by 91mobiles.
- You prefer the thinner reported body or the slightly larger stated screen diagonal.
For a like-for-like 8GB/128GB comparison, the decision is whether the realme’s listed battery, display and camera advantages are worth the reported ₹2,000 premium over the POCO. If longer software support and lower launch-period pricing matter more, the POCO has the clearer case. Check current local pricing, exact specifications and support terms before purchase.
