Verdict: The India-market realme P3x 5G is a sensible budget choice if you want a large battery, a smooth 120Hz Full HD+ display and manufacturer-rated water and dust protection. Its weak points are camera detail—especially in low light—preinstalled apps and charging that takes time for a 6000mAh battery. It suits everyday use and casual gaming better than demanding games or photography-focused use.
realme P3x 5G at a glance
realme launched the P3x 5G in India in February 2025. The official specifications list two configurations: 6GB RAM with 128GB storage, and 8GB RAM with 128GB storage. It runs realme UI 6.0 based on Android 15 and uses a MediaTek Dimensity 6400 5G chipset. realme advertises up to 18GB of dynamic RAM; that figure includes virtual memory and is not the same as physical RAM. The official SIM-tray description supports two Nano SIMs or one Nano SIM plus one card. Check the exact local variant and card compatibility before buying. The box contents listed by realme include a 45W adapter, Type-C cable, protective case and screen-protect film.
What are the realme P3x 5G’s pros?
Large battery for long days
The 6000mAh typical battery is the phone’s clearest practical advantage. In 91mobiles’ review, Dhruv Joshi recorded 13.9 hours in the outlet’s PCMark battery test and estimated 8–9 hours of screen-on time in his use; continuous 5G reduced that estimate by about two hours. India Today’s Unnati Gusain reported more than 24 hours per charge during a week with the phone. Those are different reviewers’ results under different use and methods, not a guaranteed runtime.

Smooth, high-resolution 120Hz screen
The 6.72-inch FHD+ LCD offers more resolution than an HD+ budget screen and can refresh at up to 120Hz. Scrolling and supported interface animations can look smoother at the higher refresh rate. It is still an LCD, rather than the higher-contrast AMOLED panel found on some alternatives, and realme’s 950-nit peak-brightness figure is a manufacturer specification.
Protection claims unusual at this price
realme advertises IP68 and IP69 protection and says the phone passed tests under controlled laboratory conditions to GB/T 4208-2017 / IEC 60529-2013. Its product page specifies an IP68 test involving still clear water at 2 metres for 30 minutes. realme also says the device passed MIL-STD 810H shock-resistance testing. These are manufacturer-described test results, not a promise that every handset will survive immersion, impacts or daily accidents; realme notes that protection can decrease with wear and that actual results vary. Capable enough for routine use
91mobiles reviewer Dhruv Joshi found browsing, video, light multitasking and casual gaming smooth, and rated the phone 7.5/10 in a review published March 15, 2025, and updated May 9, 2025. In that outlet’s tests, Call of Duty: Mobile held 50fps at medium settings, while BGMI was capped at 30fps on medium. These results support casual play, not an expectation of high frame rates in demanding games.

What are the realme P3x 5G’s cons?
Cameras are adequate, not a reason to buy
The 50MP label does not guarantee fine detail. 91mobiles found bright-condition main-camera pictures vivid but noted weak texture and fine-detail rendering; it also found selfie detail lacking. The reviewer judged skin tones favourably in one selfie comparison, while finding the Vivo T4x captured more detail in some conditions. Both 91mobiles and India Today identified low-light photography as a weakness. Expect usable casual daylight shots, not consistently crisp images or strong night photography.

Charging is measured in hours, not minutes
The included charger is rated at 45W, but a large battery still takes a while to refill. 91mobiles measured 74 minutes from 20% to 100%; India Today reported about 1.5 hours from empty to full. The starting charge and test methods differ, so the figures should not be treated as a direct comparison. Neither review suggests unusually quick charging for this battery size.
Preinstalled apps and small usability irritations
91mobiles reported 63 preinstalled apps on its reviewed phone. The exact set can vary with software version or region, but buyers who prefer a clean installation should expect to review and remove unwanted apps where possible. India Today also noted that accidental contact with the fingerprint sensor could trigger failed unlocks, and described the display bezels as thick.

Not built for demanding gaming
The Dimensity 6400 handled ordinary tasks well in the cited reviews, but 91mobiles cautioned against expecting strong results in demanding workloads. Its 30fps BGMI medium-setting cap is a concrete limit from that outlet’s test. Choose a more performance-oriented phone if high-frame-rate gaming is a priority.

Battery life is a genuine strength, but it depends on signal, brightness, refresh rate, apps and gaming. The differing review estimates—91mobiles’ 8–9 hours of screen-on time and India Today’s report of more than 24 hours per charge—are best read as examples of separate usage patterns rather than competing universal promises. Expect heavier 5G use to reduce endurance; 91mobiles estimated a roughly two-hour screen-on-time reduction with continuous 5G.

Charging is less impressive than capacity. The two reviewers’ figures indicate a substantial wait for a full charge, and the 45W adapter is already included in the box. A new buyer does not need to budget for a separate charger to use the stated charging rate.
Is the realme P3x 5G worth buying?
Buy it if battery capacity, a large 120Hz FHD+ screen and the manufacturer’s tested protection claims matter more to you than standout cameras, a clutter-free setup or fast charging. Its review evidence supports smooth everyday use and casual gaming, with clear limits for demanding titles. It is a weaker fit for frequent night photography or buyers who want the best performance available from a budget phone.
Price and availability need a live check. 91mobiles lists launch prices of ₹13,999 for 6GB/128GB and ₹14,999 for 8GB/128GB in India in 2025. A Gadgets 360 listing updated September 11, 2026, showed a starting price snapshot of ₹11,749 but marked the phone unavailable. Neither figure establishes a current in-stock price; verify the specific variant, seller and stock before deciding.
How it compares with the Vivo T4x and POCO M7 Pro
91mobiles identified the Vivo T4x and POCO M7 Pro as relevant rivals and, in its review comparison, judged the Vivo stronger in performance, cameras and multimedia. It described the POCO as offering an AMOLED screen, higher performance and longer stated security support, but less battery life. Those are that outlet’s comparisons, not permanent rankings: check current prices, stock, software policies and the exact variant before choosing.
