The realme P3 5G has a verified official specification sheet, but the POCO M8x 5G identity is not confirmed. Xiaomi’s official results document the POCO M8 5G and POCO M8s 5G, whose specifications differ materially. Until the exact POCO model and regional SKU are established, a definitive specs winner or purchase recommendation would be unreliable.
Is POCO M8x 5G a confirmed model?
Not in the official Xiaomi results identified here. Those results name the POCO M8 5G and POCO M8s 5G, but do not establish whether “M8x 5G” is a regional name, a typo, or an error in the comparison listing. The official POCO M8 5G page and official POCO M8s 5G page therefore cannot be treated as evidence for an M8x without verifying the intended device.

91mobiles has a page comparing the realme P3 with a POCO M8x-labeled entry, but a comparison-page label does not resolve the model discrepancy. Confirm the name on the box, the manufacturer’s regional product page, or the exact retailer SKU before relying on any POCO-column specifications.

How the two documented POCO models differ
These official POCO specifications are conditional examples only: they apply if the seller or comparison page’s “M8x” entry is verified to mean one of these models. They do not establish the specifications of an M8x.

What is the price difference?
91mobiles’ comparison page reports ₹15,999 for the realme P3 at Flipkart and ₹19,099 for the POCO-labeled entry at Amazon. On those page-reported figures, the POCO entry is ₹3,100 higher. These are snapshots shown by the comparison page, not live-verified offers; the POCO identity behind the second figure is also unresolved. Check the exact model, RAM and storage configuration, seller, stock, market, and included offers on the retailer listing before treating either amount as a current price.

Which phone has the better display, battery, and camera?
Display
The P3’s 6.67-inch AMOLED panel, FHD+ resolution, and up-to-120 Hz refresh rate are confirmed by realme. The 91mobiles POCO-labeled column claims a 6.9-inch LCD and 8 MP front camera, but those third-party figures should not be assigned to an official POCO model until its identity is confirmed. If the intended device proves to be the M8 5G, Xiaomi lists a 6.77-inch AMOLED display; if it is the M8s 5G, Xiaomi lists a 6.9-inch FHD+ display with up to 144 Hz. Those are different comparisons.

Battery and charging
The P3 is specified at 6000 mAh typical and 45 W charging. Xiaomi lists the M8 5G at 5520 mAh typical with 45 W charging, and the M8s 5G at 7000 mAh typical with 33 W charging. Capacity and charging ratings alone do not establish real-world endurance or charging time; no comparable independent battery testing is established here.
Cameras
The P3’s listed hardware is a 50 MP main rear camera plus a 2 MP bokeh camera and a 16 MP front camera. Xiaomi lists a 50 MP main rear camera for both documented M8 models; its M8s result also specifies an 8 MP front camera. Sensor resolution and supported video modes do not establish which phone takes better photos or video, and no like-for-like image-quality test is available here.
Performance, software, and connectivity
The P3’s chipset is specified as Snapdragon 6 Gen 4. The documented M8 and M8s use Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 and Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 respectively. Chip names alone are not a substitute for comparable testing under the same conditions. The available P3 specification page lists realme UI 6.0 based on Android 15, but does not settle a current regional software-support commitment. For network compatibility, match the buyer’s country and carrier against the exact local phone SKU; realme explicitly cautions that use of its listed 5G bands depends on operator deployment.
Quick Recap
What to verify before buying
- Identify the POCO model. Check the exact manufacturer model name and SKU on the listing and packaging. Do not assume “M8x” means M8 or M8s.
- Match the configuration and market. Verify RAM, storage, regional variant, and whether the seller is offering the same configuration in the buyer’s country.
- Confirm the live price and box contents. Check seller, stock, any offer conditions, and whether the charging adapter and other listed accessories are included for that local SKU.
- Check carrier compatibility and support. Confirm local 5G bands and the manufacturer’s current software-support terms for the exact regional model.
