On paper, the realme P3 Ultra 5G has the stronger chipset and the sharper curved display, while the realme P4 5G has the larger stated battery and the faster 144Hz panel. Both phones list 80W charging and a 50MP main camera with an 8MP ultrawide. A verified price difference between the two cannot be stated yet: the sale-page “from” prices are promotional starting points for different configurations, and the store price is for a different storage tier. Compare the exact RAM, storage and offer before you check out.
Specification comparison at a glance
The table uses the figures published on realme’s India product page for the P3 Ultra and realme’s India store listing for the P4. These are manufacturer specifications, not independent test results.

Chipset and display
The P3 Ultra uses the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Ultra, and the P4 uses the Dimensity 7400 Ultra. Based on the naming and product positioning, the P3 Ultra is the higher-tier chip. That is a specification difference, not a measured one. Gaming stability, sustained performance and heat behaviour depend on the software and the device, and neither official listing reports those results.
The displays trade strengths. The P3 Ultra is described as a 1.5K quad-curved AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. The P4 is a 6.77-inch AMOLED panel at 1080 × 2392 with a 144Hz refresh rate. Higher refresh rate makes motion look smoother in apps and games that support it, while higher resolution and curved edges are a matter of design and visual sharpness. Judge the screens by eye, because the listings do not establish which looks better.

Battery and charging
The P4 has the larger stated battery at 7000mAh typical, against 6000mAh for the P3 Ultra. The word “typical” matters: it describes the figure realme quotes for the P4, not a guaranteed minimum for every unit.
realme’s India product page for the P3 Ultra also publishes lab-based battery claims of 17 hours of video playback and 10 hours of gameplay. The page attributes these figures to realme Lab and states that they will differ slightly due to the test software version and testing environment. Treat them as manufacturer claims. Neither listing provides an observed runtime for everyday use, so the battery comparison stops at capacity and charging speed.
Cameras
Both phones list a 50MP main camera and an 8MP ultrawide. The only camera-level difference in the official pages is that the P3 Ultra names its main sensor as the Sony IMX896 and lists optical image stabilisation (OIS). The P4 listing does not identify its main sensor or stabilisation in the material reviewed. Without side-by-side photos under the same conditions, neither page supports naming a camera winner.

Water and dust protection
Both listings carry IP66, IP68 and IP69 ratings. Those ratings describe test conditions under which the device was assessed, not a promise that liquid damage is covered. realme states that its water and dust resistance claims are made under controlled laboratory conditions and that liquid damage is not covered by warranty. Check the warranty terms and the care instructions in the box before relying on the ratings for poolside or rain use.
Price difference: what the numbers do and do not show
The realme India Diwali sale page shows two starting prices: “P3 Ultra 5G I From ₹20,999*” and “P4 5G I From ₹14,999*”. The asterisk marks offer conditions. The realme Store India listing separately showed ₹30,999 for the P4 with 8GB/128GB selected. The snapshot was observed on October 4, 2026, and prices can change at any time.

Subtracting the two “from” prices gives ₹6,000, but that number should not be used as the price difference. It combines two promotional starting points from the same sale page without confirming that they describe the same RAM and storage, and it does not reflect the ₹30,999 store price for a specific P4 variant. A like-for-like comparison needs both phones at the same RAM and storage, with the same offer applied, at the checkout total on the day you buy.

The P3 Ultra’s official listing includes an 80W adapter and a protective case in the box contents. Confirm the package contents for your region and variant before deciding whether you need to buy either separately.

- Choose the P3 Ultra if the stronger chipset and the curved 1.5K display are the priorities, and if you want a camera listing that names its main sensor and OIS.
- Choose the P4 if the larger stated battery and the 144Hz refresh rate matter more, and if the P4 is available at a lower checkout total for the storage tier you want.
- Verify before buying the exact RAM and storage, the active offers, and the final checkout price for both phones, since the official sale-page starting prices are not directly comparable.
What the specifications cannot settle
- Real-world gaming stability and thermal behaviour, since neither official page reports an independent test.
- Camera quality from comparable sample images.
- Observed battery life beyond the manufacturer’s lab claims.
- Software update duration. Neither listing reviewed here states how many years of updates either phone will receive.
- Regional stock and delivery times, which change by store and city.
The P3 Ultra was scheduled to launch in India on March 19, 2025, according to realme’s launch announcement. The P4 listing reviewed here is current as of the October 4, 2026 snapshot.
