The OnePlus N6 5G has the larger listed battery and the lower price in one comparison snapshot; the realme 16x 5G offers the higher listed screen refresh rate. Both are listed with a 6.8-inch HD+ LCD, 50MP main camera, 8MP front camera and 45W wired charging. The better buy depends on the exact India price and configuration, and on whether you prioritize battery capacity or refresh rate.

OnePlus says the N6 screen supports a maximum refresh rate of 120Hz and that actual refresh rates can vary with the app interface and game settings. A higher listed refresh rate on the realme suggests the potential for smoother supported motion, but does not establish a better display in every use. Resolution and panel type are listed as the same for both phones.
Which phone has the better battery and charging?
The OnePlus N6 has the larger listed capacity: OnePlus specifies 8,000mAh typical and 7,780mAh rated, while the comparison lists 7,000mAh for the realme 16x. Both are listed with 45W wired charging. Capacity alone cannot establish which phone lasts longer in real use; screen settings, software, network conditions and workload also affect endurance. The available material does not provide a controlled independent battery-life comparison.

OnePlus attributes its battery-life and charging claims to the OnePlus Test Lab and notes that actual results vary. Treat those as manufacturer claims rather than independent measurements.
Do the processor names show which is faster?
The listings name a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 for the realme and a Dimensity 6360 Apex for the OnePlus, with 4GB RAM base options shown for both. Those names alone are not enough to determine which phone feels faster in everyday use or performs better in games. No controlled, independent head-to-head review is established in the cited material, so a decisive speed verdict would go beyond the evidence.

Camera and storage differences
Both phones are listed with a 50MP main rear camera, an 8MP front camera and 128GB base storage. Gadgets 360 lists additional realme 16x configurations up to 6GB RAM and 256GB storage. Matching headline megapixel counts do not establish matching image quality; a fair camera comparison would require results from comparable scenes and conditions.

Price difference in India
In the 91mobiles comparison snapshot, the realme 16x was listed at ₹28,999 and the OnePlus N6 at ₹24,999—a ₹4,000 difference in favor of the OnePlus. Gadgets 360 also listed realme 16x variants from ₹28,999 on 4 October 2026. These are source-specific listing snapshots, not guaranteed live prices; retailer, configuration, offers and stock can change the amount you pay.
Compare the same RAM and storage configuration, seller and offer terms before deciding. The cited price comparison does not establish that every realme configuration costs ₹28,999 or that the OnePlus price will be available for every buyer.

Software, durability claims and what they mean
Gadgets 360 lists Android 16, realme UI 7.0 and IP65 for the realme 16x. OnePlus markets OxygenOS 16, IP65 and MIL-STD-810H certification for the N6. IP65 is a protection rating, not a claim that a phone is waterproof; follow the manufacturer’s usage and care guidance rather than deliberately exposing either phone to water.

OnePlus says this does not guarantee absolutely no lag and that actual experience varies. It is a manufacturer test claim, not an independent finding that every device will remain lag-free for five years.

Which one should you choose?
- Consider the realme 16x if its 144Hz listed refresh rate is your priority and its current price for the configuration you want makes sense to you.
- Consider the OnePlus N6 if you value its larger listed battery capacity or find it at a meaningfully lower current price.
- Compare carefully if camera quality, gaming speed or battery endurance is the deciding factor: the supplied specifications do not substitute for comparable independent tests in those areas.
Before buying, verify the live India listing for the exact RAM/storage variant, seller, availability and price. The evidence supports a clear trade-off in listed refresh rate and battery capacity, but not a definitive overall winner.
