The 91mobiles comparison page lists the Moto g max 5G at ₹27,599 and the realme 16x 5G at ₹28,999 on Amazon—a ₹1,400 snapshot advantage for the Moto. The main trade-off is straightforward: the Moto is listed with a sharper display and more camera options, while the realme has a faster-refresh display, faster charging, and expandable storage. Prices and specifications below are third-party listings, not manufacturer-confirmed or independently tested results; check the exact variant and current India listing before buying.
Price difference: the Moto is ₹1,400 lower in the listed snapshot
As shown on the 91mobiles comparison page accessed October 7, 2026, the realme 16x 5G was listed at ₹28,999 on Amazon and the Moto g max 5G at ₹27,599. That makes the Moto ₹1,400 cheaper in that snapshot, not necessarily in a live listing today. Check the 91mobiles comparison, then verify seller, stock, and RAM/storage configuration on the retailer page before comparing totals. A separate Gadgets Now comparison result reported different prices, so the snapshot should not be treated as a settled market price.

Configuration matters: the comparison lists the realme with 4 GB or 6 GB RAM and 128 GB or 256 GB storage, while the Moto is listed with 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage. Confirm which configuration a price refers to; a lower price for a different variant is not a like-for-like comparison.

Display: choose resolution or refresh rate
The Moto listing has the higher resolution: 1080 × 2400 on a 6.72-inch LCD, compared with 720 × 1570 on the realme’s 6.8-inch LCD. That favors the Moto on listed pixel detail. The realme’s listed 144 Hz refresh rate is higher than the Moto’s 120 Hz, which may appeal to someone who prioritizes smoother motion in supported content. The numbers alone do not establish display brightness, color, or actual viewing quality.
Cameras: Moto lists an ultra-wide and higher-resolution selfie camera
Both phones are listed with a 50 MP main rear camera. The Moto comparison adds an 8 MP ultra-wide rear camera and lists a 32 MP front camera, versus the realme’s listed 8 MP front camera. Those extra listed options give the Moto more camera flexibility on paper, particularly for wider framing and selfie resolution. Megapixel counts and camera listings do not prove which phone produces better photos or video; no image samples or controlled camera tests are established here.

Battery and charging: same listed capacity, different charging ratings
91mobiles lists a 7,000 mAh battery for each phone, with 45 W SuperVOOC charging for the realme and 30 W TurboPower for the Moto. The capacity figures are equal in the comparison, while the realme has the higher listed charging wattage. Neither specification establishes actual battery life or charging time: those depend on device behavior and test conditions, and comparable real-world results are not available in the cited comparison.

Expandable storage
The realme is listed with expandable storage, whereas the Moto is listed as not expandable. If you expect to keep a large offline library of photos, videos, or downloads, that difference may matter; verify the supported expansion details for the exact retail variant.

Audio and splash resistance
The Moto listing includes stereo speakers, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, and IP64 splash resistance. These are useful distinctions if you want wired headphones, stereo playback, or the listed splash-resistance rating. The comparison does not list equivalent realme details, which is not proof that the phone lacks them.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Which one should you choose?
- Consider the Moto g max 5G if the listed lower snapshot price, higher display resolution, ultra-wide rear camera, higher-resolution selfie camera, headphone jack, stereo speakers, or IP64 rating best match your priorities.
- Consider the realme 16x 5G if you value the higher listed refresh rate, 45 W charging rating, or expandable storage more than the Moto’s listed extras.
- Do not choose on benchmark scores alone. 91mobiles reports AnTuTu scores of 632,291 for the realme and 807,683 for the Moto, but the comparison does not document enough test conditions to make this a controlled head-to-head performance result.
Before ordering, match the RAM and storage variant, seller, and current price, then decide whether resolution or refresh rate—and the camera or storage features—matter more for your use.
