Price difference for 256GB configurations
At access, 91mobiles listed the realme 16 Pro+ 256GB on Amazon for ₹50,999. vivo’s India store listed its X200T 12GB/256GB configuration at ₹59,999 and marked it out of stock. The nominal difference between those listings is ₹9,000, with the vivo costing more. This is not a launch-price comparison or a like-for-like retailer offer comparison; prices, availability, promotions and exact variants can change.
Check the RAM as well as storage before comparing offers: realme’s 256GB options include both 8GB and 12GB RAM, while the listed vivo 256GB configuration has 12GB RAM. The ₹50,999 realme listing identifies storage capacity, but does not establish that it is the same RAM configuration as vivo’s 12GB model.

Which phone has the stronger performance specification?
The vivo X200T’s Dimensity 9400+ is the higher-tier, performance-led chipset specification compared with the realme’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 4. A third-party comparison reports higher benchmark figures for vivo, but those figures are not a controlled independent test. Chipset names and benchmark rankings do not establish sustained gaming performance, thermals or performance in every app; those require comparable real-world testing.
Display: larger screen or higher refresh rate?
realme specifies a larger 6.8-inch-class AMOLED display and a maximum 144Hz refresh rate. vivo lists a 6.67-inch AMOLED at 120Hz. Both list 2800 × 1280-class resolution, though their published pixel dimensions are expressed in opposite orientations: 1280 × 2800 for realme and 2800 × 1260 for vivo. Choose realme if screen size and the higher refresh-rate ceiling matter most; the specifications alone do not establish differences in brightness, color accuracy or outdoor visibility.
Rank #2
- The larger 6.9-inch display enhances productivity and media consumption, giving extra room for multitasking, side-by-side apps, and immersive viewing without feeling unwieldy in hand.
- Camera improvements focus on ultra-wide performance, capturing more detail at the edges of the frame and reducing distortion, making landscape shots, group photos, and architecture photography cleaner.
- Refined gesture controls and haptic feedback make interactions feel more precise, so scrolling, tapping, or switching between apps is smoother and more satisfying compared to previous Plus models.
- Audio enhancements optimize speaker output for spatial awareness, delivering clearer separation between instruments and voices in music, video playback, and FaceTime calls without relying on headphones.
- Durable yet lightweight materials balance heft and portability, with a subtly textured back and reinforced edges that improve grip while maintaining the premium appearance expected from the Plus series.
Camera hardware: compare the lenses, not just megapixels
realme lists a 200MP stabilized main camera, a 50MP stabilized telephoto camera and an 8MP ultrawide. vivo lists three 50MP rear cameras. The realme’s stated main-camera resolution is higher, while the camera arrays differ in their specified resolutions and stabilization details. Megapixels do not by themselves show which phone takes better photos: focal lengths, image processing, low-light behavior and sample results matter. No controlled camera comparison is established here.

For selfies, realme lists a 50MP front camera and vivo a 32MP one. That resolution difference does not establish which produces better selfies, video or skin tones.

Battery capacity, wired charging and wireless charging
realme lists a 7,000mAh typical battery, compared with vivo’s 6,200mAh typical capacity. vivo specifies faster maximum wired charging on paper—90W versus realme’s up to 80W—and adds 40W wireless charging. realme’s reviewed specification page did not list wireless charging. Capacity and charging wattage do not determine actual battery endurance or charging time; use patterns, software, temperature and charging conditions affect both, and no comparable battery or charging test is established here.

vivo specifies IP68 and IP69 ingress protection under IEC 60529 and warns that resistance can diminish with everyday use. A comparable official ingress rating was not confirmed in the realme specification page reviewed, which is not evidence that the phones have equal protection.

Which one should you choose?
- Lean toward the vivo X200T if you prioritize its Dimensity 9400+ specification, 40W wireless charging, faster listed wired charging, IP68/IP69 rating or the longer update durations reported by the comparison page.
- Lean toward the realme 16 Pro+ 5G if you prioritize the lower observed 256GB listing price, a larger 144Hz display, a higher stated battery capacity or the higher-resolution main and front cameras.
- Compare carefully before paying if your decision depends on camera quality, battery life, gaming under sustained load or long-term software support; the listed specifications do not settle those real-world questions.
What to verify before ordering
- Confirm the current price, stock status and seller for each phone; the cited price snapshot uses different retailers, and the vivo store marked its 12GB/256GB configuration out of stock.
- Match storage and RAM explicitly. The realme comes in multiple memory configurations, including two 256GB options with different RAM.
- Check the retailer’s warranty and return terms for the exact India-market variant.
- Confirm software-update commitments with the manufacturer if support duration is a deciding factor; the durations above come from a comparison page.
