The Realme 13 5G appeared in China’s TENAA certification database in early August 2024 under model RMX3952. The listing revealed a 6.72-inch LCD, 5G connectivity, a 50MP rear camera and a roughly 5,000mAh battery, but it did not identify the chipset or guarantee that every listed memory option would reach stores.
What the TENAA appearance means
TENAA is China’s telecommunications certification authority. Its pre-launch records commonly expose a phone’s photographs, dimensions, connectivity, battery ratings, cameras and possible memory configurations. Certification indicates that a device is progressing toward release; it does not, by itself, confirm the final retail name, launch markets or every commercial specification.
The Realme handset in this report carried model number RMX3952. Images showed a flat front, a punch-hole selfie camera, a circular rear camera island and a fingerprint reader mounted on the side. The report associated the device with the Realme 13 5G, although that commercial name was still an inference at the time. The original TENAA coverage described the specifications as pre-launch information rather than a final product sheet.
TENAA-reported specifications
The following details were reported from the RMX3952 listing. Battery figures are separated because rated capacity and typical marketed capacity are not the same measurement.

What was still unknown on August 2, 2024
- Chipset name: TENAA listed only a 2.2GHz processor. It did not identify a Dimensity 6300 or any other commercial platform.
- Launch timing: The certification record did not provide the official launch date.
- Final name and markets: “Realme 13 5G” was an informed identification, not proof that RMX3952 would be sold under that name everywhere.
- India pricing and colors: Neither was established by the listing.
- Regional network bands: A generic 5G entry did not establish compatibility with every country’s bands.
- Retail configurations: The 16GB RAM and 1TB storage ceiling did not mean those versions would be sold.
- Feature certifications: OIS, IP rating and other retail claims were not confirmed by the early report.
What Realme confirmed after launch
Realme’s India product page identifies the retail phone as using the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 5G, built on a 6nm process, with an octa-core CPU reaching 2.4GHz and an ARM Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. The company lists a 6.72-inch FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 2400 × 1080 resolution, a 50MP primary camera with optical image stabilization, 45W charging and a 5,000mAh typical battery. Software is realme UI 5.0 based on Android 14. See the official India specifications.
The top India configuration is listed as 8GB physical RAM plus up to 10GB dynamic RAM and 256GB storage. Dynamic RAM uses internal storage; it is not equivalent to 18GB of physical memory. Realme also lists IP64 dust and splash resistance, Speed Green and Dark Purple finishes, a 3.5mm headphone jack and dual nano-SIM support with microSD use. IP64 does not make the phone suitable for immersion, and Realme says resistance can diminish with wear.
Realme’s Singapore specification page adds market-specific details including a 12GB + 256GB maximum option, 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3, a 16MP front camera, USB Type-C and navigation support for GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS and BeiDou. Those details should not automatically be treated as universal across all regions. See the Singapore specification page.
TENAA listing versus the retail phone
| Feature | Early TENAA report | Later retail confirmation |
|---|---|---|
| Processor | Unnamed 2.2GHz chip | MediaTek Dimensity 6300 5G, up to 2.4GHz |
| Display | 6.72-inch LCD, 2400 × 1080 | 6.72-inch 120Hz FHD+ LCD |
| Memory ceiling | Reported up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage | India page lists up to 8GB physical RAM + 10GB dynamic RAM and 256GB storage |
| Cameras | 50MP + 2MP rear; 16MP front | 50MP OIS primary, 2MP secondary and 16MP front in launch/regional specifications |
| Battery | 4,880mAh rated, approximately 5,000mAh typical | 5,000mAh typical and 45W charging |
| Durability | Not stated | IP64 dust and splash resistance |
| Dimensions and weight | 165.6 × 76.1 × 7.79 mm; 190g | Broadly confirmed by Realme |
The physical design and core capacity predictions were therefore broadly accurate, while the processor description, memory ceiling and feature list became more precise only after Realme published retail information.
India launch date and pricing
Realme launched the phone in India on August 29, 2024, with sales starting September 6 through Flipkart, Realme’s online store and offline retailers. Launch pricing reported by Mint was ₹17,999 for 8GB + 128GB and ₹19,999 for 8GB + 256GB. These are dated 2024 launch prices, not current quotations. Mint’s launch report provides the original pricing context.

Performance
The Dimensity 6300 is a midrange 5G platform rather than a high-end gaming chip. Realme advertises an AnTuTu score of approximately 450,000, but says results vary with the test environment, software version and methodology. That figure is a manufacturer claim, not a universal performance guarantee.
Display
The LCD panel combines FHD+ resolution with 120Hz scrolling and a stated 240Hz touch-sampling rate. Realme’s Singapore page lists 580-nit typical brightness, Rainwater Smart Touch and a 91.4% screen-to-body ratio. Buyers who prefer deeper blacks and higher contrast should note that this is an LCD, not an AMOLED display.
Cameras
The 50MP main camera gains optical stabilization, while the secondary 2MP sensor is a supporting camera rather than a headline imaging feature. Realme lists OIS and EIS support for video and up to 2K recording on its Singapore specification page. The selfie camera is 16MP.
Battery and charging
The phone uses a 5,000mAh typical battery, with 4,880mAh stated as the minimum/rated capacity, and supports 45W wired charging. Realme’s charging and gaming-time figures are laboratory claims; real-world endurance and charging time vary with temperature, software, network use and the charger and cable used.

Model-number and regional cautions
RMX3952 is the identifier in the TENAA report. Realme’s India security documentation separately identifies the India Realme 13 5G as RMX3951, so readers should not assume that every RMX395x variant has identical network bands, memory options or accessories. Realme’s security document provides the India model reference.
Network bands, NFC availability, RAM and storage choices can vary by country. Imported units may not support every local 4G or 5G band, and a Singapore specification should not be used as a guarantee for an Indian or other regional model.

The Realme 13+ 5G is the better fit for buyers prioritizing an AMOLED screen, faster charging and stronger performance. It is a different model, not a specification variant of the Realme 13 5G.
Bottom line
The RMX3952 TENAA listing was a useful early look at the Realme 13 5G’s design and core hardware. It correctly pointed to the phone’s size, LCD resolution, camera layout, battery class and 45W charging, but it did not establish the final chipset or retail memory range. Realme later confirmed the Dimensity 6300, 120Hz display, OIS camera and IP64 rating, while India’s retail configuration was substantially narrower than the reported 16GB/1TB TENAA ceiling.
