Choose by shape first: Razer explicitly describes the DeathAdder V3 Pro as a right-handed ergonomic, mid-to-large mouse. Logitech’s PRO X SUPERLIGHT 2 is the lighter of the two on published specifications, at 60 g versus about 63 g for the black classic-base DeathAdder V3 Pro and 64 g for the white version. The right choice depends on your hand and grip; neither specification sheet establishes a universal comfort or performance winner.
DeathAdder V3 Pro vs. Superlight 2 at a glance
| Specification | Razer DeathAdder V3 Pro | Logitech G PRO X SUPERLIGHT 2 |
|---|---|---|
| Shape and size description | Right-handed ergonomic; described by Razer as mid-to-large | Logitech’s cited product page lists dimensions but does not give an equivalent explicit ergonomic designation |
| Published weight | About 63 g in black or 64 g in white for the classic-base version, excluding cable | 60 g |
| Dimensions | About 128 × 68 × 44 mm | 125 × 63.5 × 40 mm |
| Sensor maximum | Focus Pro 30K, up to 30,000 DPI | HERO 2, up to 44,000 DPI |
| Polling rate | 1000 Hz by default; up to 8000 Hz wireless with the separately sold HyperPolling Wireless Dongle. Razer’s cited support page says 8000 Hz is not supported in wired mode for the referenced model. | Up to 8000 Hz report rate |
| Manufacturer battery claim | Up to 90 hours at 1000 Hz; up to 17 hours at 8000 Hz | Up to 95 hours in constant motion |
These are manufacturer specifications, not results from a controlled, head-to-head test. The battery figures have different stated conditions, so they do not show which mouse lasts longer under the same settings and workload. Which mouse is better for your hand and grip?
Choose the DeathAdder V3 Pro if you want an explicitly ergonomic right-handed shape
Razer identifies the DeathAdder V3 Pro as having a right-handed ergonomic shape and describes it as mid-to-large. That makes it the clearer fit to consider if you prefer a contoured mouse rather than a shape-neutral design. It does not guarantee comfort: hand size, grip style and personal preference still matter. Compare its listed 128 × 68 × 44 mm dimensions with the space and shape you know work for you.
Consider the Superlight 2 if its smaller listed dimensions and lower weight suit you
Logitech lists the Superlight 2 at 125 × 63.5 × 40 mm and 60 g. Those figures make it 3–4 g lighter than the cited classic-base DeathAdder variants. That is a real published difference, but it does not by itself establish that the Logitech will feel better or improve aim. Logitech’s cited page does not provide the same explicit ergonomic shape description as Razer’s.

Does 8000 Hz polling require an extra purchase?
Not on equal terms according to the cited specifications. Logitech lists up to 8000 Hz for the PRO X SUPERLIGHT 2. The DeathAdder V3 Pro defaults to 1000 Hz; Razer says wireless polling up to 8000 Hz requires its separately sold HyperPolling Wireless Dongle. Razer’s support page for the smooth-touch version states that 8000 Hz is not supported in wired mode. Check the exact DeathAdder variant and compatibility details before buying an accessory: Razer product page, Razer classic-base support page, and Razer smooth-touch support page.
Polling rate is a specification, not a complete measure of real-world responsiveness. If you are comparing the maximum figures, also account for the Razer dongle requirement and the lower battery-life claim at 8000 Hz.

Do the DPI and battery figures make one a clear winner?
DPI maxima are not an aim-quality ranking
Logitech lists a HERO 2 sensor maximum of 44,000 DPI; Razer lists 30,000 DPI for the Focus Pro 30K. A higher maximum does not establish more accurate tracking, lower latency or better practical aim. Choose settings that work for your sensitivity and games rather than buying on the largest DPI number.
Battery claims use different conditions
Razer claims up to 90 hours at 1000 Hz and up to 17 hours at 8000 Hz. Logitech claims up to 95 hours in constant motion. Because these descriptions are not a shared test protocol, treat them as separate manufacturer claims rather than a direct battery-life ranking.

What comes in the box, and what should you verify?
Logitech lists a LIGHTSPEED adapter, USB-A-to-C cable, adapter extension, optional grip tape and optional PTFE-foot aperture door in the box. Razer materials identify a wireless dongle and charging cable; its support specification mentions pre-cut grip tapes. Contents can depend on variant and region, so check the exact package listing before ordering. The DeathAdder V3 Pro has classic-base and smooth-touch descriptions; do not confuse it with other similarly named Razer models. Likewise, confirm that a Logitech listing is for the PRO X SUPERLIGHT 2, not the DEX or an earlier generation.
Logitech lists a two-year limited hardware warranty on its product page. A full region-specific warranty comparison is not established here; check the terms that apply where you are buying.

Which one should you buy?
- Pick the DeathAdder V3 Pro if you specifically want to consider a right-handed ergonomic, mid-to-large shape and are comfortable with its dimensions and individual fit.
- Pick the Superlight 2 if you prioritize its lower published weight or want an 8000 Hz specification without the separate Razer dongle described above.
- Decide by fit before headline numbers if neither shape is an obvious preference. Published weight, DPI and polling figures cannot predict which mouse will feel natural in your hand.
