Radxa ROCK Pi N10: Models, NPU Specs, Power and Storage

Radxa’s ROCK Pi N10 pairs an RK3399Pro with a vendor-rated 3-TOPS NPU. Compare its three memory and eMMC variants and review power, storage, wireless and display details.

Radxa’s ROCK Pi N10 is a single-board computer built around the RK3399Pro, with a vendor-rated NPU of up to 3.0 TOPS. It comes in three memory and eMMC configurations, but the board’s wireless networking is optional rather than built in. Radxa’s documentation spells the chip RK3399Pro; “RK3999Pro” in the announcement headline is a discrepancy.

What is the Radxa ROCK Pi N10?

The ROCK Pi N10 is a compact board for embedded computing, multimedia and AI/NPU development. Radxa lists a dual-core Cortex-A72 CPU at 1.8 GHz alongside a quad-core Cortex-A53 at 1.4 GHz, with Mali T860MP4 graphics. Its interfaces include Gigabit Ethernet, USB 3.0 OTG, USB 2.0 host ports and a 40-pin expansion header. These are manufacturer specifications, not independent performance test results. Radxa’s hardware and setup documentation provides the board specifications.

How do ROCK Pi N10 Models A, B and C differ?

The main differences are installed LPDDR3 memory, the memory allocation Radxa lists for the NPU, and onboard eMMC storage.

Variant LPDDR3 Listed CPU/GPU allocation Listed NPU allocation Onboard eMMC
Model A 4 GB 3 GB 1 GB 16 GB
Model B 6 GB 4 GB 2 GB 32 GB
Model C 8 GB 4 GB 4 GB 64 GB

All figures are Radxa specifications. Choose based on the memory and onboard storage your intended workload needs; the model names alone do not establish application performance. Radxa ROCK Pi N10 specifications.

What does the NPU do, and how powerful is it?

The NPU is a dedicated neural-processing unit intended for supported machine-learning workloads. Radxa specifies support for 8-bit and 16-bit computing and rates it at up to 3.0 TOPS. That is a vendor specification, not a measured benchmark: TOPS alone does not predict how quickly a particular model will run, and the available documentation does not establish performance for a particular application or current software toolchain. Radxa also describes the board as having a dedicated 3-TOPS NPU on its product site.

What power supply and cable does it need?

Radxa specifies USB-C input and lists these compatible power profiles in its setup documentation:

  • QC 3.0/2.0: 9 V/2 A or 12 V/1.5 A.

The USB-C cable must support data communication. A charger or cable that only supports charging should not be assumed to work. Check that the supply negotiates one of the listed profiles and that the cable meets Radxa’s requirement. Radxa setup guide.

What storage works with the ROCK Pi N10?

  • microSD: The board has a microSD slot listed for cards up to 128 GB. Radxa’s getting-started checklist calls for a card larger than 8 GB.
  • Onboard eMMC: Capacity depends on the model: 16 GB for A, 32 GB for B and 64 GB for C.
  • M.2 NVMe: Radxa lists an M.2 connector supporting NVMe SSDs up to 8 TB.

These options are distinct: the microSD slot and M.2 connector provide expansion, while eMMC is onboard storage whose capacity varies by model. Check the board documentation for compatibility details before selecting a drive. Radxa storage specifications.

Offer Gigabit Ethernet and a PCIe interface, along with dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0/BLE wireless capability. The RasTech Pi 5 Kit use the new 27W 5.1V 5A USB-C power connector.
  • 【 Support Dual 4Kp60 Display 】Each of the two microHDMI sockets can control a 4K display at 60 Hertz, now support HDR, offering super HD video for media streaming projects. RPi 5 is the first RPi model that comes with a PCI Express port (PCIe 2.0 x1 with 500 MB/s) to attach SSDs (requires separate M.2 HAT).
  • 【 Excellent Chips And Applications】Pi 5 is a full-size Pi computer using silicon built in-house at Pi. The RP1 “southbridge” provides the bulk of the I/O capabilities for Pi 5. Pi 5 is more friendly and convenient in the development of Internet of Things, Web development, machine identification, automatic control and other electronic equipment applications and network.
  • 【 Faster CPU, Better GPU 】 Pi 5 features a Broadcom BCM2712 64-bit quad-core Arm Cortex-A76 processor running at 2.4GHz, it delivers a 2–3× increase in CPU performance relative to RaspberryPi 4. The 800MHz VideoCore VII GPU is compatible to OpenGL ES 3.1 and Vulkan 1.2, substantial uplift in graphics performance. Pi 5 Offers lightning-fast CPU speed, a PCI Express interface, a Real Time Clock (RTC) and a power button and runs significantly cooler than Pi 4.

Does it have Wi-Fi, and what display outputs are available?

Wi-Fi is not built into the board according to Radxa’s specification table; the company lists an optional ROCK Pi Wireless Module. Gigabit Ethernet is provided for wired networking. Power over Ethernet is supported with an additional HAT, not as a standalone built-in feature.

For displays, Radxa lists HDMI 2.0 supporting up to 4K at 60 Hz, two-lane MIPI DSI and four-lane eDP 1.3. The documentation says any two of these display interfaces may be used simultaneously in mirror or extended mode. Consult Radxa’s hardware documentation for interface details.
