What QoraCRM does—and what “self-hosted” means
QoraCRM describes itself as a CRM and form builder for WordPress. The WordPress.org listing says it stores CRM data in the local WordPress database, while the vendor describes lead management, visual Kanban boards, workflow automation, analytics, tags, comments, API access, webhooks, and integrations with WordPress form tools. Local database storage does not by itself establish that a site is secure or that the plugin has undergone independent security testing. The site operator remains responsible for WordPress administration and the data held there.
Install and verify the plugin
The installation guide documents three ways to install the free core plugin. Use an administrator account with permission to manage plugins, and make a site backup before changing a production installation.
- Install from WordPress admin: Open
Plugins → Add New, search for QoraCRM, install it, and activate it. - Upload a ZIP: Open
Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, choose the QoraCRM ZIP, install it, and activate it. - Use FTP/SFTP: Place the plugin folder in the WordPress

QoraCRM’s Pro plugin is an extension: the free core plugin must remain installed and active. The quick-start material also points to settings and integrations, including SMTP configuration for outgoing WordPress or CRM mail. Choose Lite or Pro by the work you need to do
The practical distinction is not simply free versus paid. It is whether Lite’s workflow limits fit your pipeline and whether your forms or team need capabilities listed for Pro. Lite may fit a simple pipeline
Lite is a reasonable starting point if two statuses and two tags can organize your leads, you mainly need to view records and comment on them, and dashboard analytics are sufficient. The listing says the core CRM and form builder are available without Pro.
Consider Pro when work outgrows those limits
Pro is the relevant tier to investigate if your pipeline needs more than two statuses or tags, staff must edit or manage leads, or forms need payments, uploads, or more advanced field and completion options. Its listed tasks, assignment, bulk actions, and role-based access also address workflows involving more than one person. The promotional price and trial are volatile commercial terms, not permanent plan guarantees.
Check the migration path before moving existing forms
The WordPress.org listing names import or migration paths from Elementor, Fluent Forms, WPForms, Ninja Forms, Gravity Forms, Contact Form 7 with Flamingo, Formidable Forms, Forminator, SureForms, and CSV. The homepage also describes API and webhook connections and names Telegram and Make as examples of notification or automation destinations. These are vendor-listed options; they do not guarantee that every historical record, field, or form configuration will transfer exactly as expected. - Review the relevant import documentation and confirm that your source is covered.
- Back up the site and test the import on a staging copy where possible.
- Check representative leads, field values, and form behavior before using the migration on the production site.
