Yes, the offer is real—but it is a $69.99 StackSocial reseller promotion, not a guaranteed, permanent service contract. The listing advertises a PureVPN “Lifetime Subscription” with five simultaneous devices and a 30-day redemption deadline. PureVPN’s own support documentation also refers to StackSocial lifetime accounts that later expired, so treat “lifetime” as a promotional license whose future support and continuity can change.
What the $69 PureVPN deal actually is
StackSocial currently lists PureVPN: Lifetime Subscription for $69.99. PCWorld Shop shows a separate listing at the same price. You buy through the reseller, receive a digital code or activation instruction, and then redeem it with PureVPN. This is different from purchasing a normal subscription directly at PureVPN’s checkout.
The StackSocial page states that the code must be redeemed within 30 days and supports up to five simultaneous devices. Taxes, regional availability, payment fees, eligibility for existing accounts, and the precise activation flow can change, so read the live “Important Details” and terms before paying.
Availability and price are promotional and can change without notice. A headline that rounds $69.99 to “$69” is referring to the same listing.

What is included
The StackSocial listing claims the following features. These are product-page specifications, not independent performance test results.

The page also displays network figures that do not match other PureVPN pages. One StackSocial listing says 550-plus servers in 141 countries, another says 2,000-plus servers in more than 180 countries, while PureVPN’s homepage advertises 6,000-plus servers in 65-plus countries. Because these figures conflict and can change, do not use a single server count as a guarantee of coverage or speed.
The biggest catch: “lifetime” does not necessarily mean forever
In VPN promotions, “lifetime” normally describes the commercial life of a product, account or license—not the buyer’s lifetime and not an irrevocable promise that the same service will operate unchanged forever. Apps, infrastructure, ownership, protocols, device allowances and licensing terms can all change.
There is a specific reason to be cautious here. PureVPN’s billing FAQ discusses customers who bought lifetime accounts from StackSocial and says that such an account has expired. That documentation does not prove that the current $69.99 promotion will expire, but it does prove that historical “lifetime” entitlements have not necessarily remained active permanently.

Therefore, the safe interpretation is: you are buying the entitlement described on the current StackSocial page, subject to its terms and PureVPN’s ability to continue providing the service. Do not buy it if you require a contractual guarantee of unchanged, lifelong access.
Redeem and document the purchase safely
- Confirm the merchant and price. Make sure the checkout is the current StackSocial PureVPN lifetime listing and that the final total is acceptable after tax or fees.
- Read the current terms. Check the redemption deadline, account eligibility, refund language, device limit and any regional restrictions. The available listing says 30 days.
- Save the order record. Keep the StackSocial receipt, order number and every email containing the code or activation link.
- Redeem promptly. Sign in or create the required PureVPN account and activate the code before the 30-day window closes.
- Verify the entitlement. In the PureVPN member area, record the active plan, expiration information and allowed device count. Take a screenshot.
- Test your important use cases. Check your usual locations, devices, streaming services, banking sites and kill-switch behavior while any applicable remedy period remains.
Do not buy several codes as gifts or for later use unless the live terms expressly allow it; an unused code can expire.
Refunds and renewal: two different rulebooks
StackSocial and PureVPN are separate merchants for practical purposes, so their policies should not be blended.
StackSocial terms
StackSocial’s comparable PureVPN listing says an unredeemed digital license may qualify for a refund within 15 calendar days, generally as StackSocial store credit. Once redeemed, software purchases are generally treated as final under the listing terms. Check the lifetime page itself because wording can vary by product.

PureVPN’s guarantee
PureVPN advertises a 31-day money-back guarantee for eligible initial purchases. Its refund policy excludes renewal payments and says some payment methods, including Apple App Store, Google Play and CoinPayments, may be non-refundable. Do not assume PureVPN’s guarantee overrides StackSocial’s reseller terms. If StackSocial processed the payment or the code is unredeemed, begin with the seller shown on your receipt.
Auto-renewal
The lifetime listing is not presented as an ordinary recurring subscription, but the page should be checked for the exact entitlement language. PureVPN’s direct plans do auto-renew and can be canceled before renewal. That rule applies to normal direct subscriptions, not automatically to a StackSocial code. Verify whether the code is non-recurring, whether a later upgrade creates a subscription, and whether any renewal is required if the promotional entitlement ends.

Five devices versus PureVPN’s regular plans
Five simultaneous connections is the limit stated on the lifetime listing. PureVPN’s support page for regular service says up to 10 simultaneous connections, but that higher number should not be applied to this reseller product. Product-specific terms control.
Five devices is sufficient for one person or a small household. It can be restrictive if you plan to cover phones, computers, tablets, televisions, consoles and a router at the same time.

The $69.99 purchase breaks even against a $5-per-month VPN after roughly 14 months, or against a $10-per-month plan after roughly seven months. Those calculations only hold if the entitlement remains usable for that long.
PureVPN’s direct checkout currently displays promotional multi-month plans that renew annually. For example, the displayed Plus offer is $73.80 for 27 months and then $69.95 annually. Direct plans may include different tiers, device limits and current features, so the reseller deal is cheaper over several years only if its lifetime entitlement continues to function.

A five-year plan may be the less ambiguous comparison
StackSocial also lists a separate five-year PureVPN subscription for $69.99. It costs the same headline price as the lifetime listing but states a finite term. Someone who distrusts lifetime licensing may prefer five years because the promised duration is easier to understand, even though it provides no access after that period without a new purchase.
Who should buy the lifetime offer?
- You expect to use PureVPN for several years and value a low upfront cost.
- Five simultaneous devices meet your needs.
- You are comfortable purchasing through StackSocial rather than directly from PureVPN.
- You can redeem immediately and retain the purchase evidence.
- You accept that future service, account handling or license conditions may change.
Who should skip it or think twice?
- You need more than five connections under this specific offer.
- You require a strong, easily enforceable guarantee of permanent service.
- You are buying for business, regulated work or high-risk anonymity.
- You need guaranteed access to a particular streaming, sports or banking service.
- You dislike reseller support or a possible store-credit refund.
- You would be seriously harmed if a promotional account later expired or required renewal.
A VPN encrypts traffic between your device and the VPN provider; it is not a complete anonymity, antivirus or identity-theft solution. PureVPN describes its privacy position and legal jurisdiction in its privacy policy, trust center and terms. Those statements are provider disclosures, not an independent certification that PureVPN is the most private or fastest VPN.

The $69.99 PureVPN lifetime listing is a genuine StackSocial deal and can be excellent value for a price-sensitive user who needs five or fewer connections and expects several years of use. Its weakness is the word “lifetime”: PureVPN’s own support material references expired StackSocial lifetime accounts, so no responsible buyer should treat the promotion as an absolute promise of permanent access. Buy only after checking the live terms, redeem within 30 days, preserve your records and choose the five-year or direct-plan alternatives if license continuity matters more than the lowest long-term cost.
