Welche drei Handgriffe können den DualSense-Akku entlasten?
Die folgenden Änderungen sind leicht rückgängig zu machen. Probieren Sie sie einzeln aus, damit Sie merken, welche Einschränkung für Sie akzeptabel ist. Die Auswirkungen auf die Laufzeit sind nicht beziffert.

1. Vibration und Trigger-Effekte reduzieren
Öffnen Sie Einstellungen > Zubehör > Controller (Allgemein) und senken Sie Vibrationsintensität sowie Trigger-Effektintensität. Sie können auch niedrigere Stufen testen oder die Funktionen ausschalten. Der Kompromiss: Haptische Rückmeldungen und der Widerstand der adaptiven Trigger fallen schwächer aus oder fehlen. Sony beschreibt diese Einstellmöglichkeiten, gibt aber keine bestimmte Laufzeitersparnis dafür an. PlayStation: DualSense-Controller-Einstellungen.
2. Lautsprecher des Controllers leiser stellen
Im selben Menü lässt sich Lautstärke (Lautsprecher des Controllers) anpassen. Eine niedrigere Einstellung ist besonders naheliegend, wenn Sie den Controller-Lautsprecher regelmäßig verwenden und dessen Audio nicht immer laut brauchen. Der Effekt auf die Akkulaufzeit ist nicht quantifiziert; behandeln Sie die Änderung daher als einfachen Versuch, nicht als festes Stundenversprechen. PlayStation: DualSense-Controller-Einstellungen.

3. Den Controller nach dem Spielen nicht unnötig eingeschaltet lassen
Wenn Sie die PS5 ausschalten oder in den Ruhemodus versetzen, schaltet sich laut PlayStation auch der Controller aus. Nutzen Sie eine dieser regulären Konsolenoptionen, wenn Sie fertig sind, statt den Controller ungenutzt aktiv zu lassen. Für einen separaten automatischen Abschaltzeitwert ist hier kein bestätigter Menüpfad angegeben. PlayStation: PS5-Controller verwenden.
Wie prüfen Sie den Akkustand?
Öffnen Sie das Kontrollzentrum der PS5 und wählen Sie Zubehör. Dort sehen Sie den Ladezustand. Während des Ladens ist das Batteriesymbol animiert und zeigt einen Blitz; bei voller Ladung erscheinen drei Balken. So lässt sich besser unterscheiden, ob eine Änderung tatsächlich einen Unterschied macht, ohne eine bestimmte Verbesserung vorauszusetzen. PlayStation: PS5-Controller verwenden.

Was tun, wenn der DualSense sehr schnell leer ist?
Die drei Einstellungen helfen nicht, wenn die Ursache ein gealterter Akku oder ein Ladeproblem ist. Sony weist darauf hin, dass die Akkudauer mit wiederholter Nutzung und dem Alter allmählich abnimmt. Im offiziellen DualSense-Handbuch heißt es: “The battery has a limited lifespan. Battery duration will gradually decrease with repeated usage and age.” Auch Lagerung, Nutzungsbedingungen und Umwelteinflüsse wirken sich aus. Offizielles DualSense-Handbuch.

Laden im Ruhemodus prüfen
Der DualSense kann über ein geeignetes USB-Kabel geladen werden, wenn die PS5 eingeschaltet ist oder sich im Ruhemodus befindet. Damit im Ruhemodus USB-Strom verfügbar ist, prüfen Sie Einstellungen > System > Energiesparen > Im Ruhemodus verfügbare Funktionen und konfigurieren Sie die USB-Stromversorgung entsprechend. Für Konsolen der Modellgruppe CFI-2000 nennt PlayStation außerdem Adaptive: Diese Option passt die Ladezeit an den verbleibenden Akkustand des verbundenen Controllers an und soll gegenüber den Optionen „3 Stunden“ oder „Immer“ Strom sparen. Kabel und Anschluss als Fehlerquelle ausschließen
Wenn der Controller nicht oder unzuverlässig lädt, empfiehlt PlayStation, einen anderen USB-Anschluss oder ein anderes Kabel mit Lade- und Datenfunktion zu testen. Ein reines Ladekabel ohne Datenfunktion kann laut Support ungeeignet sein; außerdem lädt nicht jedes USB-Ladegerät den Controller. Ein passendes USB-C-Kabel kann ein defektes Kabel ersetzen, verlängert aber nicht nachweislich die Laufzeit pro Ladung. PlayStation: PS5-Controller verwenden.
Akku bei längerer Nichtbenutzung pflegen
Sony empfiehlt, einen längere Zeit nicht verwendeten Controller mindestens einmal im Jahr vollständig aufzuladen. Das Handbuch nennt 10 bis 30 °C als empfohlenen Temperaturbereich für das Laden und weist darauf hin, dass das Laden außerhalb dieses Bereichs weniger wirksam sein kann. Diese Hinweise verhindern den üblichen altersbedingten Kapazitätsverlust nicht. Offizielles DualSense-Handbuch.

Controller zurücksetzen, wenn Probleme anhalten
Bei anhaltenden Verbindungs- oder Controllerproblemen beschreibt PlayStation einen Reset über die kleine Öffnung neben dem Sony-Logo. Schalten Sie den Controller aus beziehungsweise trennen Sie die Verbindung und drücken Sie die Reset-Taste mindestens fünf Sekunden lang mit einem Pin oder einem ähnlichen Werkzeug. Ein Reset ist Fehlerbehebung, kein Akku-Upgrade. Bleibt das Problem bestehen, wenden Sie sich an PlayStation Repairs oder den Support. PlayStation: DualSense-Fehlerbehebung.

Menübezeichnungen und Verfügbarkeit können sich mit der PS5-Systemsoftware ändern. Die Modellbeschränkung für Adaptive Charging gilt laut der genannten PlayStation-Ladeanleitung ausdrücklich für CFI-2000-Konsolen.
