To get the Emberheart Lantern, bring a Frozen Heart to the Yeti Demon in The White Terror Lair near Butterfly Estate and defeat it for a chance at the drop. Equip the lantern, then charge its Cold Immunity timer by standing near a lit campfire in Iceveil Valley. Equipping it alone does not grant permanent protection.
Where to find the Emberheart Lantern
The lantern is reported as a chance drop from the Yeti Demon in The White Terror Lair, near Butterfly Estate. The route guides describe is to travel to the Butterfly Estate shrine, head toward the red bridge, drop into the water, and enter the cave behind the waterfall. The lair is beneath or close to the estate area. These directions and encounter details come from third-party guides and may change with game updates.

What you need to summon the Yeti
You need a Frozen Heart in your inventory. Guides report Rare Chests and Sealed Caches as possible sources; Pro Game Guides lists a 10% chance from each, but that is a guide-reported rate, not an official drop table. The Black Marketer is also reported as a purchase route, though availability and cost are not established.
- Travel from the Butterfly Estate shrine toward the red bridge.
- Drop into the water and enter the cave behind the waterfall to reach The White Terror Lair.
- Find the frozen Yeti and use the “Return the heart” interaction while carrying a Frozen Heart. One guide says to hold T when prompted.
- Defeat the Yeti Demon and check for the Emberheart Lantern. Repeat the summon and fight if it does not drop.
Is the Emberheart Lantern a guaranteed drop?
No. Pro Game Guides reports a 25% chance per Yeti Demon defeat in a September 2026 guide. Treat that as an attributed guide estimate rather than a confirmed in-game rate; the searched sources do not provide an official drop table.

How to activate and recharge Cold Immunity
- Equip the Emberheart Lantern in the Waist slot.
- In Iceveil Valley, stand close to a lit campfire and watch the Cold Immunity meter charge.
- Explore while the protection is active, keeping the timer in mind.
- When the timer is low, return to a lit campfire and recharge it before continuing a long route.
Guides report that the meter can charge to a maximum of ten minutes. The lantern does not provide permanent Cold Immunity simply by being equipped, so identify a nearby campfire before heading far into the snow.
What is established—and what may change
Third-party guides and community wikis agree on the core loop: obtain a Frozen Heart, summon and defeat the Yeti in The White Terror Lair, equip the lantern, and recharge Cold Immunity at campfires. The reported drop rates, item bonuses, interaction prompt, and directions are not official game documentation and may change after an update.
