Those reports do not establish a precise reduction to movement speed, duration, range, cooldown, or damage. The sources here do not provide an official Ouw Productions patch note confirming exact values. The September 19 overall list still has Thunder in S while flagging a likely nerf, which is one reason to check a list’s date before acting on its placement.

- PvP duels: Serpent (also called Snake in the September 19 overall list) is a reasonable first style to consider in the September 28 guide, which points to slippery combo routes that are difficult to punish. Thunder remains a burst alternative for players who like its tempo.
- Progression and bossing: The September 28 guide favors Water, Flame, and Wind for these activities. This is that guide’s mode-specific view, not an agreed-upon ranking across all community lists.
- Debuff pressure: The same guide describes Insect as a rising option because its poison and debuffs can help against high-health bosses.
- Keeping Thunder: A lower tier placement alone does not show that the style is unusable. The September 28 guide says its burst picks still connect and describes it as retaining fast distance-closing relative to many kits. Consider whether losing some movement matters more to your play than the burst and tempo you value.
To compare styles for yourself, focus on the activity you actually play, then weigh combo consistency, startup and mobility, reach, burst damage, execution difficulty, and any dependence on a particular clan or weapon. Project Slayers 2 Wiki’s overall list advises choosing the breathing style or Blood Demon Art first and a supporting clan afterward.

Should you reroll because of a tier list?
Usually, do not reroll based on one placement alone. First check the date and intended mode of the list, and compare its reasoning with how the style performs for your build and goals. The sources here report that unlocking styles involves a level 25, 5,000 Wen, 30 Demon Horns, and 5 Beast Cores gate, and warn that resetting costs mastery progress. These are community-guide details, not independently verified current in-game requirements, so confirm them in the client before spending resources or resetting.
