What Progress Bar V06 shows
V06 is designed to show how a storage total is divided, rather than how far one task has advanced. Its bar contains six colored segments for photos, videos, apps, documents, system data and other files. Below it, a legend pairs icons with category sizes, followed by a storage-saving tip. Colorlib’s V06 page describes the template and its intended presentation.

That category breakdown can suit a storage settings panel or cloud-drive quota view. Colorlib also suggests budget breakdowns, where the same visual structure can show how a total is allocated across categories.
How it differs from a standard progress indicator
A single-value progress bar communicates completion toward a target—for example, an upload or a step in a form. V06 instead compares several parts of a whole. It is therefore most useful when readers need to understand composition, not just completion. If activity has no measurable endpoint, an indeterminate indicator such as a spinner is generally a better fit than a percentage bar; Colorlib makes this distinction in its progress-bar examples collection.

Bootstrap has its own stacked-progress pattern: the collection discusses .progress-stacked in the context of Bootstrap 5.3. That is separate from V06’s implementation. The template page describes V06 as standalone HTML and CSS, not as a Bootstrap component.
Dependencies and compatibility
Colorlib lists the download at 5 KB and says it uses plain HTML and CSS, with no JavaScript, jQuery, plugins or Bootstrap files required. It can be used independently or added to a Bootstrap 4, 5 or 6 project; the publisher says it should look the same in those settings. These are the publisher’s stated compatibility details, not a guarantee for every custom theme or application.

Because the display is built around fixed category information, a working storage dashboard still needs suitable values and labels supplied by the surrounding product. The template’s visual presentation alone does not establish that it reads a device’s storage or updates from live data.

Color alone should not carry the meaning of the six segments. Keep each category name and size readable in the legend, and ensure the bar’s visual proportions correspond to those values. If the bar is also meant to communicate a meaningful numeric total to assistive technology, expose that information in an accessible text or semantic representation; a decorative colored bar by itself is not a complete explanation.

Check the layout at narrow widths as well as desktop widths: the legend and sizes need to remain legible without forcing horizontal scrolling. The Colorlib descriptions establish the template’s structure, but do not provide a specific accessibility conformance claim or responsive test result.
