Premium removes the data cap, supports up to 10 simultaneous connections, and adds more server locations and tools. The choice is mainly between a capped no-cost plan for lighter use and paid access for heavier or multi-device use.
What is the difference between the free and paid VPN plans?
PrivadoVPN Support’s answer to “What is the difference between the free and paid VPN plans?”, dated June 26, 2023, describes Free as 10 GB per 30 days and Premium as unlimited data. The support article says unused Free data does not roll over. Because these are dated plan terms, check the current plan details in your account before subscribing.

What happens after Free’s 10 GB is used?
According to that June 26, 2023 support article, “After you use up your monthly quota, your connection speed will be limited to 1 Mbps until the next traffic renewal date.” It also states, “Unused traffic does not accrue.” PrivadoVPN’s Free marketing page uses broader “unlimited speeds” wording, which does not explain this post-quota limit. Treat the support article’s specific 1 Mbps statement as a dated documented term, not a guarantee of current service behavior.

How many devices can use each plan at once?
Premium supports up to 10 simultaneous connections, according to PrivadoVPN Support. Free is limited to one connection at a time in the support and download documentation. The Free marketing page’s “unlimited devices” wording can refer to installing the app on multiple devices; it should not be read as permission to connect all of them to the VPN concurrently.
