How to earn more Portable Extractors
Portable Extractors are Extraction Gizmos. Epic lists three general ways to earn more: complete Bonus Goals quests, trade in Sprite Dust, and progress through Sprite Mastery. Epic’s Extraction Gizmos support page describes these routes, while its v41.00 update notes explain how they fit into the Sprite system.

Prioritize the official routes
- Check Bonus Goals. Review the current quests and complete any goals that award Gizmos.
- Use Sprite Dust. Finding and extracting Sprites earns Sprite Dust; Epic says it can be spent on the collection and upgrades. Check the current in-game service or collection screen for whether Extractors are available and what they cost.
- Progress Sprite Mastery. Level up Sprites and master them to unlock progression rewards, which can include more Gizmos.
Epic does not establish a permanent daily allowance or fixed Sprite Dust price in these sources. Treat the live game’s displayed rewards and costs as authoritative.

Extra fast routes reported by a guide
A guide updated August 25, 2026, reports several more specific options. These details are from a secondary source and are not all confirmed by Epic’s support pages, so verify that each is available in your game before spending time or currency.

Epic’s v42.00 update notes confirm that the August 22 Power Hours event offered an additional Portable Extractor item. That dated mention does not establish that Power Hours recur every Saturday or confirm the guide’s other quantities.
How to use and keep your Extractors
An Extractor pulls out the Sprite you have equipped from anywhere on the island. Gizmos begin in the pickaxe slot and are accessed there. They cannot be traded or dropped when you are eliminated, and your Gizmo inventory lasts for the season before expiring. Epic says the expiration timer is available on the Battle Royale mode selection screen or the Gizmo Wheel.

If you cannot access one on mobile
Check the pickaxe/Gizmo slot and your HUD controls. Epic’s v42.00 notes describe a mobile fix for custom HUD layouts that lack a Reload button or use Dynamic Quickbar Slots, which could prevent access to Portable Extractors.
