POCO X7 vs realme 13 Pro: Specs Comparison and Price Difference

The POCO X7 and realme 13 Pro compared on published specifications, with the water-resistance test conditions explained and a method for checking a fair price.
Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

On the manufacturers’ published specifications, the POCO X7 has the sharper display and the higher stated water-resistance rating, while the realme 13 Pro has the higher-resolution selfie camera and a slightly higher typical battery figure. Neither spec sheet shows a clear overall winner in camera quality, speed or battery life. This article also cannot give a reliable current price difference, and it explains why below.

Side-by-side specifications

Both phones use a 120Hz OLED-family display, a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilisation, an 8MP ultrawide camera and 45W wired charging. The table below lists each manufacturer’s published figures for the regional pages consulted in 2026. Regional versions can differ, so treat these as the specification each brand states rather than a guarantee for every market.

What each specification means in practice

Display

The POCO X7 lists more pixels, which means finer detail on text and images at the same screen size. The realme 13 Pro’s FHD+ panel is a common resolution in this price class and is adequate for most viewing. Which screen you prefer will depend on brightness, colour tuning and how you use the phone, and the specification sheets do not measure any of those.

Processor

The POCO X7 uses a MediaTek chip and the realme 13 Pro a Qualcomm chip, both built on a 4nm process. Maximum clock speeds are not a reliable guide to real performance, so neither chip should be called faster on the strength of its name or clock figure. Sustained gaming, thermal behaviour and app speed need a matched test to settle, and none is available here.

Cameras

Both phones list the same main and ultrawide sensor resolutions. The differences are the POCO’s 2MP macro camera and the realme’s 32MP front camera compared with the POCO’s 20MP. Higher megapixel counts do not automatically produce better selfies or photos, because processing, lens quality and lighting matter as much as resolution. If selfies are your main use, the realme’s front camera is the stronger specification, but a side-by-side photo comparison would be needed to confirm which result you would prefer.

Battery and charging

The realme lists a higher typical capacity, 5200mAh against the POCO’s 5110mAh, and it also gives a rated figure of 5050mAh. The gap of about 90mAh is small and does not translate into a measurable difference in daily use. Both phones use 45W wired charging, though realme names its implementation SUPERVOOC. Battery endurance depends on screen settings, network conditions and workload, so capacity alone does not predict how long either phone will last.

Water and dust resistance

The POCO X7’s Xiaomi United Arab Emirates page states an IP68 rating and describes the test behind it: static freshwater submersion to a depth of 1.5 metres for up to 30 minutes, under specific laboratory conditions. The page’s wording is that the device has been “tested and certified to be resistant to splash, water, and dust in the presence of specific laboratory conditions with the classification IP68 ingress protection based on IEC 60529:1989+A1:1999+A2:2013.”

The realme 13 Pro’s global product page states an IP65 rating, which refers to a controlled water-jet test rather than submersion. Realme also warns that “water and dust resistance of device is not permanent and may diminish over time because of normal wear and tear.”

Neither rating means the phone is designed for swimming, diving or careless immersion. Both ratings describe performance under test conditions, and that protection can weaken with age, drops and damage to seals. If you plan to use either phone near water, treat the rating as a limit rather than an allowance.

Why this article gives no price difference

A price difference is only meaningful when both prices come from the same country, the same storage configuration, the same seller and the same date. The comparison pages consulted showed different seller prices for these phones, and some listings were out of stock. Those figures change daily and were not matched like for like, so any number printed here would be misleading. Treat any price gap you see online as a claim to verify, not a fact.

Launch dates are also not price or availability evidence. The 91mobiles comparison page reports 17 January 2025 for the POCO X7 and 30 July 2024 for the realme 13 Pro. Those are secondary-reporting launch dates. The POCO X7 series launch event was published on Xiaomi’s global site on 9 January 2025. That event page mainly highlights the POCO X7 Pro, so its details should not be attributed to the standard POCO X7.

How to compare prices yourself

  1. Choose one country. Prices, stock and included accessories differ by market, so compare only within a single region.
  2. Match the configuration. Compare the same RAM and storage on both phones, for example 8GB with 256GB, because the two brands list different configuration sets.
  3. Open each retailer’s own product page rather than relying on an aggregator snapshot, and note the seller’s name.
  4. Check whether the price is a live offer, a list price or a discounted promotion, and note any conditions attached to the discount.
  5. Confirm the item is in stock and that the phone is sold new through the same channel for both models.
  6. Record the date you checked. Refresh the figures before you decide, because prices can change within days.
  7. Compare what is in the box. A phone sold with a charger or case may cost more while being the better buy, so include bundled items in the comparison.

Box contents and accessories

The POCO X7 UAE specification page lists a 45W charger in the box. Xiaomi’s Mexico page for the same phone warns that charger inclusion can vary by region, so check your local listing before assuming one is included. The realme 13 Pro India listing includes a 45W adapter, and its box contents also include a case and a screen-protector film.

If you buy an accessory separately, confirm that it lists your exact phone model. A case or charger with the wrong model listed may not fit, and a charger with a different wattage may not deliver the 45W charging these phones are rated for.

Which phone fits which priority

If your priority is Direction from the listed specifications What the specifications cannot settle
Screen resolution POCO X7, which lists 1.5K against the realme’s FHD+ Brightness, colour accuracy and personal preference
Selfie camera resolution realme 13 Pro, which lists 32MP against the POCO’s 20MP Actual image quality, which needs a matched photo test
Water and dust rating POCO X7, with a stated IP68 rating against the realme’s IP65 Whether either rating suits your use; neither allows unrestricted underwater use
Typical battery capacity realme 13 Pro, with 5200mAh against 5110mAh Real-world endurance, which the capacity figure does not measure
Price Not determined by this comparison Current value, which depends on a like-for-like listing in your market, with the date checked

If you need the best-supported single advantage on paper, the POCO X7 has the stronger display specification and rating, and the realme 13 Pro has the stronger front camera and battery figures. Your choice should follow the priority that matters most to you, after you have checked the price in your own market.
