The iQOO 15R is ahead of the POCO X6 Pro on most listed specifications, including processor generation, refresh rate, battery capacity and charging speed. The POCO is far cheaper: a comparison listing that showed prices on October 7, 2026 put the POCO X6 Pro at ₹33,499 and the iQOO 15R at ₹53,990, a gap of ₹20,491. Whether that gap is worth paying depends on what you use the phone for and on the exact storage variant you can buy, because the two phones come from different launch generations and the prices move.
Launch timing and what that means for the comparison
The POCO X6 Pro launched in India on January 11, 2024. The iQOO 15R is a 2026 model, announced on February 24 and put on sale on March 3, according to the comparison outlets that list it. The two phones are roughly two years apart in age, so a spec-by-spec gap is partly a generation gap. Read the table below with that in mind: the iQOO is the newer and higher-positioned device, and the POCO is the older, budget-oriented one.

Specifications side by side
POCO’s figures come from its official global specifications page at mi.com POCO X6 Pro specs. The iQOO 15R figures come from comparison outlets, principally 91mobiles and Gadgets 360. We could not confidently match iQOO’s own India product page to this model, so treat the iQOO column as third-party reporting rather than confirmed manufacturer data.

Processor and display
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 is a newer and higher-tier chip than the Dimensity 8300-Ultra. A higher chip tier usually means more headroom for demanding games and multitasking, but the listings do not tell us how either phone sustains performance over a long session, and we have not tested them. The same applies to the screens. The iQOO’s 144Hz panel can display smoother motion than the POCO’s 120Hz, and it has a slightly higher resolution. The POCO’s screen is 0.08 inches larger on paper, which is a small difference in practice.

Cameras: more sensors on the POCO, higher selfie resolution on the iQOO
The POCO has three rear cameras, including a dedicated 2MP macro module. The iQOO lists two rear cameras. Megapixel counts do not decide image quality, because sensor size, lens design, processing and software all affect the final photo. The iQOO’s 32MP selfie camera has more resolution than the POCO’s 16MP, but again that figure alone does not tell you how the photos will look. For camera judgments, look for independent photo tests of each model before deciding.
Battery, charging and durability
The iQOO’s 7600mAh battery is larger than the POCO’s 5000mAh, and its listed 100W charging is faster than the POCO’s 67W. Those two numbers suggest the iQOO will charge faster and may last longer on a single charge, but battery life in hours depends on screen settings, network conditions and use, and no such test is reported here.

The two water and dust ratings are not directly comparable test results. IP54 means protection against dust and water splashes. IP69 covers close-range, high-pressure, high-temperature water jets, a more demanding test. Neither rating means the phone is safe to submerge in ordinary use unless the manufacturer states that specifically.
The price difference, and why it is a snapshot
On October 7, 2026, 91mobiles showed the POCO X6 Pro at ₹33,499 and the iQOO 15R at ₹53,990 on Amazon India, a ₹20,491 difference. That gap is simple subtraction from one listing pair, not a published market statistic. Gadgets 360’s POCO X6 Pro price listings show different prices for different variants, and some variants were marked out of stock on the same date. Before you rely on any figure here, open the product page, check the RAM and storage variant, and confirm the seller and stock status.

Which phone fits which buyer
- Choose the POCO X6 Pro if your budget is the main constraint and you do not need the newest chip, the highest refresh rate or fast 100W charging. Its 6.67-inch screen, macro camera and lower price suit everyday use, media and casual gaming.
- Choose the iQOO 15R if you want the newer processor, a 144Hz display, larger battery and faster charging, and the price gap is acceptable. It is the better fit for demanding games and users who keep phones for several years.
- Do not decide on the spec sheet alone. Check independent reviews for real-world performance, heat, camera quality and software updates before committing more than ₹20,000 to the newer phone.
Checks before you buy
- Open each phone’s product page at Amazon India or your preferred retailer and note the price on the same day.
- Match the RAM and storage variant exactly. The POCO’s 8GB/256GB and 12GB/512GB versions are priced differently, and iQOO’s variants vary by listing.
- Check whether the charger and any case are included, since POCO’s package contents can vary by region.
- Confirm the stock status and seller before ordering, because some listings show out of stock.
- Read at least one independent review for each model that covers performance, battery and camera results.
On the listed specifications, the iQOO 15R is the stronger phone and the POCO X6 Pro is the cheaper one. The right choice depends on whether the extra hardware matters to you more than roughly ₹20,000.
