1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesThe POCO M7 Plus has the larger screen and the bigger stated battery. The Redmi Note 15 SE 5G has the AMOLED panel, the higher selfie-camera resolution, a specified 4K rear recording mode, and the charging details that Xiaomi publishes on its own India specification page. The listed prices point to a gap of about ₹8,000 in the Redmi’s favour on price, but the POCO was marked out of stock when the comparison was checked, so the gap is a snapshot, not a current street price.
Which phone fits which priority
Choose the POCO M7 Plus if a larger, higher-refresh LCD and a 7000mAh battery matter more to you than display type and camera extras, and if you can find it in stock at a price you accept. Choose the Redmi Note 15 SE 5G if you want an AMOLED screen, a camera setup with a documented 4K rear recording mode, a 45W charger in the box, and a published set of memory configurations. Neither choice is backed by independent performance or battery-life testing, so the decision rests on the stated specifications and the price you can actually get.

Specifications side by side
The Redmi values come from Xiaomi India’s product specification page. The POCO values come from a third-party comparison page, because no official POCO M7 Plus specification page was located. Official POCO pages found in the same search describe a different model, so they were not used here.

Display: larger LCD or smaller AMOLED
The POCO has the larger diagonal, 6.9 inches against 6.77 inches, and the higher stated maximum refresh rate, 144Hz against 120Hz. The Redmi uses an AMOLED panel with a curved edge, which is the more meaningful difference for most buyers, because panel type changes black levels, contrast and how the screen looks in dark rooms. Refresh rate only matters when apps and games actually run at the top setting, so check whether the rate you care about is available in the apps you use.

Battery and charging
The POCO’s 7000mAh figure is the larger capacity on paper. Xiaomi lists the Redmi at 5800mAh typical, which is a typical value rather than a minimum, and pairs it with 45W Turbo Charging and a charger in the box. The POCO charging speed was not established in the sources checked, so the two phones cannot be compared on how quickly they recharge. Capacity alone also does not decide runtime, since screen size, chipset, software and the way a reviewer tests battery all change the result.
Processor
The two chips have similar names and similar advertised maximum clocks, and the POCO’s listing uses a slightly different model name, Snapdragon 6s Gen 3. Those listed details do not tell you how either phone performs under sustained load. Treat the processor as a specification to note, not a reason to pick one phone over the other.
Cameras
The Redmi lists a 50MP main camera with a 2MP depth sensor, a 20MP front camera, and 4K recording at 30fps from the rear. The POCO comparison page lists a 50MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera. On paper the Redmi offers the sharper selfie camera and the documented 4K rear video mode. Megapixel counts do not predict photo quality, and no comparable side-by-side camera testing was found for either model.

Price difference and availability
The comparison page lists the Redmi at ₹24,999 and the POCO at ₹16,999, which works out to ₹8,000. That figure is simple subtraction of two listed prices from a page checked in 2026. The POCO was shown as out of stock, so the gap may not be available to buy. Prices change often on Indian marketplaces and can differ by memory variant, seller and offer. Before you buy, compare the exact variant you want on the retailer’s page, including any bank or exchange offer, and check stock at the time of purchase.
Manufacturer claims to read carefully
Xiaomi’s India product page says the Redmi Note 15 SE 5G survived drops of up to 1.7m and carries MIL-STD-810H certification. These are Xiaomi’s own claims. The independent test report behind them was not located, so treat them as the manufacturer’s statements rather than verified durability results.
Bottom line on the comparison
If the bigger battery and screen are the deciding factors and the POCO is actually in stock at a price you accept, the POCO M7 Plus is the one to consider. If you want the AMOLED display, the better selfie camera, the 4K rear video mode, and a listed charger in the box, the Redmi Note 15 SE 5G is the better match on paper, at a higher listed price. Confirm current stock and prices for the exact variant before you decide.
