For buyers in India, the POCO F7 has the higher-tier listed processor and an 8MP ultra-wide rear camera; the vivo T5 Pro has a larger listed battery, a 144Hz display and a higher-resolution selfie camera. The right choice depends on which of those differences matters most—and on the price of the exact RAM and storage variant available when you buy.
POCO F7 vs vivo T5 Pro: India specifications
The comparison below uses India-specific battery information for the POCO F7. Xiaomi’s global specification lists a different capacity, so it should not be applied to the India model.

Which phone has the stronger performance?
On the listed chipsets, POCO has the higher-tier processor: Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 versus Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 in the vivo. That makes the POCO the more compelling specification-led choice for demanding games and processor-heavy work, but chipset names alone do not establish sustained performance, heat or real-world frame rates.
91mobiles lists AnTuTu scores of 2,106,422 for the POCO F7 and 1,167,242 for the vivo T5 Pro. These are figures reported by that comparison publisher, not tests conducted for this article; benchmark results can vary with software, device settings and test conditions. vivo’s launch release also presents its own AnTuTu claim, which should be treated as a manufacturer claim rather than an independent test.

Battery capacity and battery life are not the same thing
For India, the POCO F7 is listed at 7550mAh typical capacity by Xiaomi’s regional FAQ. POCO’s global specification instead gives 6500mAh typical; Xiaomi’s FAQ distinguishes the global and India models. vivo India lists 9020mAh for the T5 Pro, giving it the larger stated capacity in this market.
That capacity comparison does not guarantee which phone lasts longer in a particular routine. 91mobiles reports PCMark battery figures of 20 hours 36 minutes for POCO and 18 hours 39 minutes for vivo. Those are the comparison site’s results, not independently reproduced testing here. The different capacity and benchmark ranking are a reminder that usage, display settings and test conditions affect runtime.

Display: same size and panel type, different refresh rate
Both manufacturers list a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display. POCO specifies a refresh rate up to 120Hz, while vivo specifies up to 144Hz. The vivo’s higher maximum may appeal if you prioritize smoother scrolling or supported high-refresh gameplay, but refresh rate by itself does not show which screen has better color, brightness or overall image quality.
Camera differences: ultra-wide on POCO, higher-resolution selfie camera on vivo
POCO lists a 50MP main rear camera alongside an 8MP ultra-wide camera. The extra ultra-wide lens is the clearest hardware distinction for people who want to fit more of a scene into a photo. vivo lists a 50MP Sony IMX882 OIS main camera and a 2MP depth camera in the comparison listing; its launch announcement identifies the main sensor and optical image stabilization.

For selfies, the listed resolutions are 20MP on POCO and 32MP on vivo. A higher megapixel count does not by itself establish better photos, low-light results or video stabilization, so these specifications are best read as hardware differences rather than a camera-quality verdict.

Quick Recap
Which one should you choose?
- Choose POCO F7 if: the higher-tier listed processor, an ultra-wide rear camera or the reported comparison-site PCMark result matters more to you. Confirm the India variant and availability before purchase.
- Choose vivo T5 Pro if: you value its larger listed India battery, 144Hz maximum refresh rate or 32MP front camera, and can find a configuration at a suitable current price.
- Compare the exact variant before paying: vivo’s India launch announcement lists three RAM/storage combinations, while the cited POCO India sources do not establish the India memory/storage lineup. Do not assume two displayed prices refer to equivalent configurations.
