PocketBook’s Verta Color listing also refers to interchangeable covers, but the product pages do not establish which panels fit which model, provide a confirmed catalog of all five shades, or show that the panels can currently be bought. What should you check before choosing one?
- Decide whether you need color. The Verta is the monochrome option; the Verta Color adds color at a stated 150 PPI, while grayscale is listed at 300 PPI.
- Check the price and stock in your market. The €169 and €179 figures are German storefront listings, and both devices were marked out of stock on October 7, 2026. Those listings do not confirm shipping dates or prices elsewhere.
- Verify the panel before buying accessories. The reported five shades do not establish exact model compatibility or whether replacement panels are available to purchase.
- Compare Kindle pricing locally. Amazon’s $149.99 figure is US launch pricing; it should not be directly compared with German euro listings as though both came from the same market.
Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date/time indicated and are subject to change. Any price and availability information displayed on Amazon at the time of purchase will apply.
