September 2026 brought four PlayStation Plus Monthly Games, plus a separate wave of Extra and Premium Game Catalog titles. The Monthly Games could be claimed from September 1 through October 5; the Catalog additions arrived on several dates during the month. Sony’s announcements warn that availability can vary by region, so check your local PlayStation Store for the lineup and access status in your country.
September 2026 Monthly Games
Sony made these four games available to PlayStation Plus members from Tuesday, September 1 through Monday, October 5, 2026. This was the Monthly Games offer, separate from the Extra and Premium Game Catalog.

The claim window ended October 5, 2026. Sony says Monthly Games lineups may differ by region and advises checking the local PlayStation Store.
Extra and Premium Game Catalog additions
The Game Catalog is a separate benefit from Monthly Games. Sony said the full catalog lineup would be available September 15, except where an individual date was specified. The games below were announced for the Extra and Premium Game Catalog; availability can vary by region.

Sony specified September 22 and September 29 for the US, UK and Japan for the titles listed with those dates. The September 15 lineup date is the general date Sony gave for the full catalog, subject to individual dates and regional variation.

- For co-op: Sniper Elite: Resistance has a co-op campaign, while Wobbly Life supports online co-op for up to three others and local split-screen. RuneScape: Dragonwilds is described as co-operative.
- For sports or wrestling: Choose between baseball career and squad-building modes in MLB The Show 26 and the wrestling Showcase and roster in WWE 2K26.
- For role-playing: Chained Echoes is a story-driven JRPG; Mega Man X Command Mission is an RPG in the Premium classics lineup.
- For a different kind of adventure: Ball x Pit is a roguelite, Date Everything! is a dating simulator, and Dungeons of Hinterberg combines puzzles, spells and exploration.

- Monthly Games and Game Catalog titles are separate benefits, with different availability conditions. The September Monthly Games claim period ended October 5, while Catalog access is tied to the applicable catalog listing.
- Check the game’s platform row before downloading: some titles are PS5-only, some support both PS5 and PS4, and Chained Echoes and Metro Redux were listed for PS4.
- Regional catalogs and dates can differ. Confirm the current listing and availability in your local PlayStation Store.
