The setup is a channel link: create a channel at radio.plasma.ai, give that link to each session, and use the channel as a common thread. Radio handles the conversation. It does not merge session state, share working directories, or run the coding itself, and Plasma’s public description does not say otherwise.
What Plasma Radio is
Plasma AI describes Radio as a real-time channel where agents can talk to one another and to a person. The tagline on Plasma’s Radio page reads “The easiest way for your agents to talk to each other.” At launch, co-founder Nicholas Diao described it in a statement reproduced in a LinkedIn post as “a chatroom for you and your agents.” That wording is the most accurate short description: a room for messages, not a coding agent and not a shared workspace.

Plasma also identifies Radio as a core primitive of Fractal, its broader product. The same page says Fractal cloud and early access are forthcoming, so treat anything beyond the Radio channel as unavailable until you have checked it yourself.

Plasma’s documented onboarding sequence has four steps:
#1 Best Overall
- External computer speaker in Black (set of 2) for amplifying PC or laptop audio
- USB-Powered from USB port of PC or Laptop
- In-line volume control for easy access
- Blue LED lights; metal finish and scratch-free padded base
- Bottom radiator for “springy” bass sound
- Go to radio.plasma.ai and create a channel.
- Copy the channel link.
- Give the link to each agent that should join.
- Send a message to start the exchange.
Plasma names Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, OpenCode, and Grok as examples of agents that can join. Those are the vendor’s compatibility claims. Plasma’s page does not publish an independent test of them. The stated requirement is that an agent can fetch a URL, so a session that cannot open the link cannot take part.
Plasma does not document the exact mechanics each agent uses to read and post messages. Before you rely on a channel for handoffs, confirm with a short test message that each session can both read the channel and post to it.

- [COMPATIBLE WITH USB-C DEVICES] - Thanks to the built-in USB-C to USB Adapter, our USB-C speakers are now compatible with devices that only have USB-C interface, such as the latest MacBook, Mac mini, iMac, iPad, Android phones, and tablets.
- [INCREDIBLE LOUD SOUND WITH RICH BASS] - Our small computer speaker is equipped with dual ultra-magnetic drivers and dual passive radiators, providing high-quality stereo sound with powerful volume and deep bass for an incredible audio experience.
- [ADAPTIVE-CHANNEL-SWITCHING WITH G-SENSOR] - Ensures the left and right sound channels remain correctly positioned whether the speaker is clamped to the top or bottom of your monitor.
- [CONVENIENT TOUCH CONTROL] - Three intuitive touch buttons on the front allow for easy muting and volume adjustment.
A starting prompt for each session
Plasma does not supply prompt text, so the following is a suggested pattern, not a Plasma recommendation. Include the link and a clear division of labor in each session’s instructions:
- The channel link and a one-line role, such as “drafting the parser” or “reviewing tests.”
- An instruction to check the channel before changing shared code and to post findings and questions there.
- A reminder that the channel is a message thread. Each session still works in its own project directory.
How parallel sessions use the channel
Plasma describes three collaboration patterns. Each one changes what the channel has to carry:
Rank #3
- Surge Stereo Sound - 4 large amplifier IC horns! Computer speakers achieved Distortion Free and Noiseless in stunning sound. Immersive cinema effect for movies, videos, games and music.
- Touch Angular Game Lights - Unique Dynamic Angular Game Atmosphere design! Desktop speaker with latest One Touch to turn on/off lights, avoid the traditional cumbersome button design.
- All In One Compact - Fits any desktop computer! Perfectly under the monitor without taking up any extra desktop space. Cables are glued together to avoid desktop clutter.
- Plug And Play - No need for any driver! Must Plug in the USB powered cable and 3.5mm audio cable to enjoy now! Top volume knob for easier volume adjustment.
- Type C Adapter Included & Compatibility - USB speakers match computers, desktops, PCs, laptops. Suitable for windows(Vista/7/8/10), Mac OS, Chrome OS, etc.
Agents on one computer
Several Claude Code sessions in separate terminals on the same machine can share one channel. This is the simplest case for a parallel workflow, because each session already has a local project directory and the channel only handles the messages between them.
Agents in different locations
Plasma says the channel can connect agents across places, such as a local machine and a cloud environment. The page does not describe how network access, credentials, or repository access work across those environments, so verify those separately.
Rank #4
- Versatile setup with speakers that connect easily to computers and other devices via Bluetooth wireless or 3.5mm cable
- Logitech Easy-Switch technology lets you seamlessly switch between audio devices Just by pausing the Audio on one device and pressing play on the other
- Each speaker has one active/powered driver that delivers full range Audio and ONE passive radiator that provides bass extension.
- On-speaker headphone jack Plus convenient controls for easy access to Bluetooth wireless pairing, power and Volume adjustments, Bluetooth version: 4.2
- Works with Bluetooth enabled devices and any device with a 3.5mm input including a computer, television, smartphone, tablet and music player
Outside human participants
Plasma says a person can join the conversation if they have the link. This lets a reviewer or collaborator follow the discussion without a separate coordination tool.

Workflows Plasma gives as examples
Plasma offers four examples: one agent drafting code while another tests it, a group reviewing a pull request, splitting a task across agents, and discussing a bug. These are illustrations from the vendor, not measured outcomes. The benefit Plasma claims is less manual relaying of messages between sessions and a shared record of the conversation. Agents still need clear task instructions and human oversight.

What the channel shares and what it does not
The table separates what Plasma’s Radio page states from what it leaves unaddressed. Use it as a checklist before you decide what to coordinate through Radio and what to coordinate another way.
| Question | What Plasma states | What is not stated |
|---|---|---|
| Can agents talk directly, or do you relay messages by hand? | Radio is a channel where agents talk to one another; setup is sharing a link. | The exact send and read mechanics for each agent. |
| Does one channel span providers and machines? | Plasma lists several agent types and describes agents on one computer and across locations. | An independent compatibility test. |
| Can people take part and view the conversation? | A person with the link can participate; the channel keeps a record. | How viewing permissions are assigned. |
| Who can get in with a link? | Anyone with the link can take part, per Plasma’s description. | Whether links expire, whether channels are private by default, and who can revoke access. |
| Does it share only messages, or also files, execution context, and permissions? | Messages and the conversation record. | Whether any files, working state, or permissions are shared. Nothing in Plasma’s description says they are. |
Access, privacy, and availability
- Price. The launch statement reproduced in the LinkedIn post says Radio is “Free to use. No signup required.” That is a launch-time statement. Check the current terms on radio.plasma.ai before you depend on it.
- Privacy and security. The Radio page does not specify retention periods, data use, or security controls. Do not treat the channel as secure, private, or encrypted, and do not use it for sensitive or proprietary code unless Plasma publishes a policy that covers your use.
- Anecdotal setup experience. The same LinkedIn post includes a separate user’s account of trying Claude Code with Radio. It is one individual’s report, not a measured setup time.
- No published performance figures. Plasma’s Radio page and the launch material do not publish a time saving, adoption figure, task success rate, or latency benchmark for Radio.
Bottom line
For parallel Claude Code sessions, Plasma Radio is a practical shared message thread: one link, every session, and a record of what was said. It does not coordinate the work itself. Use it for handoffs, findings, and questions, keep file and repository coordination in your own workflow, and keep sensitive code out of it until Plasma’s current policies answer your questions.
