Google’s listed hardware additions for the Pixel 10 are a Tensor G5 processor, 4 GB more RAM, a dedicated 5x telephoto camera and Pixelsnap magnetic wireless charging. Whether those justify the premium depends on whether you will use those features; the specification comparison does not quantify real-world speed or image quality.

Which phone has the better camera setup?
Pixel 10: a dedicated telephoto lens
The Pixel 10 has three rear cameras, including a 10.8 MP 5x telephoto camera. Google lists up to 20x Super Res Zoom. That dedicated lens is the practical hardware distinction if you often photograph distant subjects or want a native telephoto focal length.
Pixel 10a: two rear cameras
The 10a pairs a 48 MP wide camera with a 13 MP ultrawide and lists up to 8x Super Res Zoom. It has no dedicated telephoto camera in the comparison. Google lists a 13 MP front camera on the 10a and a 10.5 MP dual-pixel autofocus front camera on the Pixel 10; megapixel counts alone do not establish which takes better photos.

Are the displays and build different?
Both have a 6.3-inch Actua display, a variable 60–120 Hz refresh rate and up to 3,000 nits peak brightness in Google’s specifications. The listed difference is cover glass: Gorilla Glass 7i on the 10a and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on the Pixel 10. Both are rated IP68, while their finishes and back materials differ: matte composite on the 10a and polished glass on the Pixel 10.
Does the Pixel 10a really last longer?
